In afl/vfl history, a score to win a game after the final siren has occurred 52 times.

Melbourne in 162/3 years has never won in this way.

Out of this 52 times, 6 were against Melbourne.

On 34 occasions, players have missed an opportunity to win the game. Melbourne represent 3:

Ron Barassi Snr -1940

Steven Clark - 1991

Jayden Hunt - 2018
