After another disappointing year by MFC he will seek success elsewhere

Well basing your opinion that we will have a poor year will lead to Clarry leaving is not a great reason for that to happen.
Zhe might win our B and F and be happy if we make the 8 !!!

There was a lot of smoke about his tenure at the end of last season. Carlton were into him big time. He is out of contract at the end of this year. Do you honestly think that there will not be HUGE interest in him from most other clubs? His manager will be fielding massive offers. All footballers crave the ultimate success, a premiership. Can he get it with us? We have been dealt a massive hit with the loss of Brown and Weideman, and I just don’t think we can conjure a winning score without those two key forwards. Do you? So we will struggle to win games early to mid season, kiss finals goodbye because history tells us that you need early runs on the board. Hence my opinion that after another fruitless year, Clayton will seriously consider his options, especially when they have big bucks attached.

No bobby I don't share your pessimism about kicking goals. It's a bit harder but I have faith in the new Coaches  and young players That should be selected.

Could be fake optimism but we won't be one dimensional like previously and our smalls are exciting prospects and training well.

Please  read dome of my posts Showing why so am very bullish about our mids and ruck connecting much better and playing team footy.

Natural Improvement in  Lockhart Lever Rivers Fritsch Jacko Kossie and a resurgence in form from Harmes and Tommy Mac would add goals to our score plus Gus and Jack will be better with Ooze as coach of the mids.

Half glass full not empty is my mantra !

Position in 8 sure but Top4 not out of the question given Good injury runand game plan improvement .

Clarry won't leave if he is rewarded with a new contract till his FA occurs if we show we are On the ball.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Brisbane

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
