This season is a write off. Hard to see the seasons starting again so late let alone finishing the season with no vaccine.

So I look forward to next year, some hard decisions have to be made on senior players

B: LOCKHART, MAY, LEVER

HB: SALEM, T.MCDONALD, RIVERS

C : LANGDON, PETRACCA, TOMLINSON

HF: PICKETT, PETTY, BEDFORD

F: FRITSCH, WEIDEMAN, MELKSHAM

FOLL: GAWN, OLIVER, VINEY

IC: BRAYSHAW, HARMES, SPARROW, JACKSON

DEPTH PLAYERS

BACKS: O.MCDONALD, SMITH, NEITSCHKE

CENTRE: VANDENBERG, BAKER, PREUSS, JORDON

FORWARDS: HANNAN, NEAL-BULLEN, BRADTKE, BENNELL

DELIST: JETTA, J.WAGNER, HIBBERD, HORE, JONES, BROWN, SPARGO, C.WAGNER, HUNT, DUNKLEY, CHANDLER, KOLODJASHNIJ

We don't have a first round draft pick so that will probably be our best 22. Don't know what were gonna do with trades and free agency.

Don't mind the 22 AFL team but still not sure that Tommy  is not our best FF.option.

Can't  understand Why we would  keep AVB if he is sidelined this season and delist Chandler.

Would also keep Dunkley and Jonesy as he will be our best forward at times with his kicking and he is fitter and better than last year with fitness and injury.

would delist Baker before others also.

Agree with Nev and Hibbo.

ANB also a delist candidate.

Sorry this year is far from a write off

if you have been reading AFL info They are desperate to hold matches initially without crowds To maximise the broadcasting rites.

Reckon  last 6/8 rounds will be maximised with crowds and multiple blockbusters to also gain revenue.

All our players may get chance to put claims for placing on 2021 list if we resume.

Other  IN/OUT May be Goody if he fails to get forward line working!!!

  • PREVIEW: North Melbourne

Can you believe it? After a long period of years over which Melbourne has dominated in matches against North Melbourne, the Demons are looking down the barrel at two defeats at the hands of the Kangaroos in the same season. And if that eventuates, it will come hot on the heels of an identical result against the Gold Coast Suns. How have the might fallen? There is a slight difference in that North Melbourne are not yet in the same place as Gold Coast. Like Melbourne, they are currently situated in the lower half of the ladder and though they did achieve a significant upset when the teams met earlier in the season, their subsequent form has been equally unimpressive and inconsistent.

  • REPORT: Adelaide

The atmosphere at the Melbourne Football Club at the beginning of the season was aspirational following an injury-plagued year in 2024. Coach Simon Goodwin had lofty expectations with the return of key players, the anticipated improvement from a maturing group with a few years of experience under their belts, and some exceptional young talent also joining the ranks. All of that went by the wayside as the team failed to click into action early on. It rallied briefly with a new strategy but has fallen again with five more  consecutive defeats.
