Would have been post of the year, but you forgot his penchant for exploring the â€˜narrative’.

On a separate matter......How can you work with Robbo and not suffer fools?  How can you keep nodding at Robbo, whilst he is spewing emotional brainless pub-talk?

Like a bible-basher, cuts talkback radio simpletons off if they use a word such as ‘[censored]’; yet it is a word that Robbo would use without flinching.

I applaud his intellect and the fact that he is raising the bar.  But for god’s sake, find a suit that fits, don’t continually smile like a 6 year old receiving a chrissy present, and give Robbo more RDOs on 360.

He has stated he doesn’t like that on his show, he has no control on crunch time nor 360 A’s has said as much. I truly believe if he had his way, he would have Robbo on 360 either.

Robbo even made the snide remarks at the start of the year that Whateley got him kicked off SEN so he didn’t have to work with him there as well as 360

Seemed normal tonight.

That’d be right. Another one of Wolf’s ruses.

He did slam the MCC for the number of spare seats on Fri night. Was it really that bad?

No idea, but I’d find it hard to believe there was a few thousand spare seats in the MCC. I was there for the Geelong v Richmond qualifying final last year and it was packed to the rafters 45 mins before the start. A few hundred would make sense but not a few thousand.

Just asking the question, you seem to keep coming back here.

You might be asking the question but I’m not going to be answering you.

Just watching the re-run of the 360 special that was on tonight. Jack did his rascal of the year segment and the winner was this girl at a darts comp with an  â€˜I love Gerard Whately’ sign in the crowd.

I wish I could just put a video clip here because I really can’t explain what happened next when they asked her some questions. If you can watch it somehow do it, I honestly can’t do it justice.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
