TAC Cup 2016

Really enjoying the contest, Will Brodie will have to have a big quarter for the Bushrangers to win.    Sandy just have to many classy midfielders for Murray

Out of nothing Marshall brings Murray back within a kick. 2 goals from 3 kicks for him. Scratch that. McMullen puts Bushies in front.

Cracking game, Sandy deserved winners. McGrath best on. Unforts can't hang around to watch the Scorps...

It was a great game, high quality and lots of talent on display.  Bushies really pushed the Dragons but too much class in the end.  Scrimshaw and McGrath stood up when it mattered, McGrath performance will go down as one of the best in a GF ine the TAC Cup.

Todd Marshall couldn't really run and had little impact and looked injured, while it was a shame that the younger Brayshaw got injured early on as well.  Andrew played his best game last week and was putting together some really good form.

Congrats to the Dragons,

Agreed Melon.

McGrath got them back in the game when it looked like slipping away.  Taranto and Scrimshaw are all class.

For the Bushies, Brodie was instrumental in lifting them in the second quarter but it was the ball movement and pressure of the Dragons all over the ground that won them the game.

And for the fans of Christian Petracca, he's currently in the Nandos outside Etihad and just had a selfie taken with my grandson.

Other notables seen during the TAC Cup game were Todd Viney and Kelly O'Donnell. There were quite a few club recruiters on level 3 and a couple appeared to be involved in an argument.

Plenty of Bulldog jumpers at the ground now, less of the MFC colours do get down to Etihad Demon fans - the Scorpions need your support.

The APS athletics were held today and another triumph for Sandringham Dragons Andrew McGrath who is being touted as a top 5 draft pick.

He ran under 11 seconds in the 100 sprint and finished a very handy first in the sprint hurdles.

Pity there's no way that we can snaffle pick 2 in the draft.
