2015 STATE OF ORIGIN TEAMS (3 Dees represented).

Featured Replies

Figures of the AFL media have done their 2015 State of Origin sides (posted below).

3 Dees got the nod, no surprises they are probably our 3 best players currently:

Tom McDonald (FB- Victoria)

Jesse Hogan (FP- Western Australia)

Bernie Vince (Int.- South Australia)

I perhaps argue that Jeff Garlett should have made it into the WA team, but other than that all deserving.

The teams were selected before Joel Patfull’s injury.

Bryce Gibbs and Grant Birchall passed virtual fitness tests to take their place in the sides.

Healy trolling Cats fans naming Selwood as an emergency. I like it.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
