Sir Why You Little 37,550 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I heard KB this morning droning on & on about how great the (his) idea is, and that coaches are ruining the game. KB has NEVER mentioned one fact, that is...When the 4 man interchange rule was approved the GAME CHANGED FOREVER. KB wants to see football similar to what he played, now they were great days when i was growing up. But that game style is not possible unless the 19th & 20th man is returned. This 20 cap rotation is a disgrace whilst teams are priming up for the season ahead. I agree with Malthouse, Neeld, Clarkson etc who have spoken out. KB put a sock in it please. You are wrong and out of touch....
Chook 15,088 Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I think the game should move to something like 5-7 subs and no interchange. This would give enough room to take off injured or poorly-performing players, but eliminate the ridiculous burst running that has taken over our game. No sport that lasts 2 hours should be able to have the word "burst" in it. AFL needs to go back to an endurance game. That's where it thrives, IMO.

A player will collapse and be in serious trouble if an interchange cap is enforced. People of KB's vintage just do not understand, but then he is a strange little man.
