Demon Ring Tone

Featured Replies

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has It's a Grand Old Flag as a ringtone for iPhone? If so, any chance I can get the file emailed to me?

Cheers.

If you can't find an mp3, get jdownloader and go to the theme song on youtube.

Download the audio track as an mp3 and send it to your phone.

Done :)

Thanks Choke, will give that a try later. Can't be too difficult to do that can it??!!

Thanks to you too LFR.

It's pretty easy, just paste the url of the youtube clip into jdownloader and it will scan the page and list all the media files on it. Then just download the mp3 one, which will be the audio track.

I use it to download videos from youtube for my son :)

to then make it a ringtone it needs to be converted to another format (i believe its m4a) and it can't be more than 30 sec

If you're using a phone from 1998?

I suppose I can't speak for iPhone because I don't have one, but any android phone can be set to use an mp3 regardless of length as it's ringtone. It may cut out and start the track again after 30 seconds though (I don't remember), so you might want to cut down the mp3 first.

Yeah that's Apple for you. Making sure they can make money on ringtones too. When I last did it, the phone wouldn't recognise anything longer than 30 seconds

Wow that's complete BS. A Nokia N95 could do mp3 ringtines before the iPhone ever came out, it can only be Apple being obstructive that would cause that limitation. It's certainly not the technology.

Hopefully there is an 'app' that will convert an mp3 to whatever proprietary format they require.
