Yes.

You're making assumptions based on what Matlhouse already said - you don't have evidence of Neeld saying any more.

Either that, or you taking offence to purely what he said, which a blind man could tell you.

If Malthouse used Neeld as his source, so what?

Once again, a blind man could tell you this - we didn't have to know that Neeld thinks it too.

That's something we CAN assume.

Righto champ.

Righto champ.

I think we can agree to disagree.

It is interesting and more so that Neeld was appointed as coach not as administrator.

I hope it is as a comment to divert MM as to the real coaching and any real club rebuild.

It should also be seen in the body language/confidence comments made on other threads that the coach should be expressing confidence not confidance.

Look, even taking into consideration Neeld's recent comments, it's possible Malthouse ad-libbed this character assassination of the MFC, in an attempt to deflect the heat from Neeld.

Malthouse is obviously close to MN, and it would not be out of character for him to feel a need to protect him in any way available.

Righto champ.

the truth maybe somewhere in between you and hose but you are making more sense billy

you don't confide anything or have off-the-record chats to the press. they are the press and they make you look pretty dumb especially when they start a comment with " I was talking to Mark Neeld and ............" even if they misrepresent you. Not only is MM the press but he is also MM with a mouth sometimes like Aker. I'd stay clear if you want to avoid controversy

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
