Hypothetical: Rendell?

Cannot find much to disagree with Dee-luded.

The error we all tend to make is not keeping track of friends etc

Unfortunately we all die at some point.

Hang in there, lots of good things are happening around you, they just might be a little hard to see this week.

Thanks OD.

Just reflecting on the Rendell "sacking" after reading a couple more articles in the papers.

Would not the best thing for all sides have been for Mifsud, an AFL Official working in the indigenous area, to have reprimanded Rendell there and then about inappropriate comments. Rendell would have understood the unacceptable nature of what was said, no matter the intention and all would have continued with a lesson learned. That to me would have been the best way to deal with it rather than ratting on a mate about a private conversation to the media and ended up with that mate being sacked without any attempt at fixing the problem.

What has been achieved here, nothing other than a non AFL employed person being publicly villified and then sacked. Really helps the problem, that!

Matt Rendell's sacking seems like an over the top, knee jerk reaction. I wonder if AFL HQ was still holding a grudge for Rendell's GWS comments last year.

"They will be deplorable," Rendell said.

"They are going to finish stone motherless last, they are going to be deplorable. Greater Western Sydney? They are going to be shocking."

Thats the major problem isnt it.... The AFL do not want honest people in the system....

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
