Good on him. Hopefully it makes it easier for people in pro sports over there to be themselves in the future.

Spurs and Heat have their feet up but we've got 6 series all with a score line of 3-2.

Boston and Houston would have to come back from 3-0 deficits and I believe it's never been done before. Heard some stat that only 12 Teams have forced a game 6 after being 3-0 down.

And Golden State come up with the series win. Didn't see the game, but Bogut put up good numbers with 14 points 21 rebounds 3 assists and 4 blocks.

Watched a bit of the match and Andrew was very good - big game. Even David Lee played a couple of minutes and Curry had another good match. They're up against the Spurs next. Should be a good series. Highlights of game 6.

The Nets/Bulls series goes to a 7th game after Brooklyn won today. Back to Brooklyn for the decider on Sunday (our time)

Knicks @ Boston for game 6 tomorrow (9am ESPN) Should be a cracker. New York were leading 3-0 and they'll need Carmelo to step it up you'd reckon.

Knicks advance and now play the Pacers (who knocked out Atlanta today)

Miami await the winner of the Nets/Bulls game tomorrow.

Miami await the winner of the Nets/Bulls game tomorrow.

The last Nets/Bulls game was pretty close. It doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence the reports that the flu was doing the rounds in the Chicago team.

At least the Nets are playing at home. I hope it makes a difference.

3 of the Conference Semi-finals are now set. Spurs/Warriors, OKC/Memphis, Knicks/Pacers are all interesting match-ups whilst you'd reckon Miami will take care of the Nets or the Bulls. They would probably have more trouble with the Nets.

I reckon anything could happen with the other 3 match-ups. OKC without Westbrook will find Memphis a handful.

Caught up with this ESPN '30 for 30' doco called 'Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs The New York Knicks'

Definitely worth a look or at least to bookmark for a later time. With the Knicks through to the 2nd round of the playoffs and drawn to play against Indiana, the doco is quite apt and is a great trip down memory lane.

Huh? Did the Clippers lose? What the...... Must have missed them on the schedule.

I was just reading that they won the last 7 games of the regular season, the first 2 of the playoffs and then proceeded to lose their last 4.

A few people over at the Clippers must be nervous with CP3 entering free agency and the coach out of contract.

And it didn't take long before the rumours have started with the Celtics. A lot of people certain that Pierce will be traded and that Garnett will retire.

Yeah, it was a well put together doco, Demon16. Those '30 for 30' ESPN doco's are well worth seeking out.

Should be a terrific series vs the Knicks. I reckon your blokes can do it. The Pacers are strong at points allowed and rebounds so we can look for some tight games. ... Scout's take: Knicks vs. Pacers (from a Knicks point of view, only one I could find)

Anyway ... the Bulls get through after defeating the Nets in Brooklyn today ... highlights Wonder if Derrick Rose will do a 'David Lee' and make a brief appearance for inspiration. Might seem a bit contrived so I doubt it.

The 8 teams are set for the Conference semi-finals now. Miami might be a little rusty but if they come out and win game 1 then we could close the door on that series.

Thriller between OKC and the Grizzlies today ... here's some extended highlights

In the other game today, the Pacers go 1 up in New York. Very important win.

Miami drop game 1 ... looks like they were a little rusty ... highlights

In the other game today the Spurs won a thriller in double overtime over the Warriors. Parker and Curry had big games but it was a clutch 3 pointer from Ginobili that sealed Golden State's fate ... highlights

Grizzlies get one back and the Knicks get on the board - Carmelo went on a terrific points scoring run. Both series are tied at 1-1 and it will be interesting to see how Memphis and Indiana go in their 2 home games coming up.

Reggie Miller and Spike Lee had a reunion of sorts today ...

Warriors all square with Spurs 1-1.

Should be 2-0 up.

Could Golden State reach the conference final?

Yeah GL, the next 2 games are at home for the Warriors so they've got a 'golden' opportunity. At this stage anything could happen in the West. Memphis are in with a show over OKC.

Miami put their foot down today and they're looking ominous. Next 2 are in Chicago though and you'd reckon that the Bulls could win 1 of the 2. Interesting that all 4 series have been split so far.

Here's some highlights from today's Warriors/Spurs game. Klay Thompson lights it up.

Double header on ESPN tomorrow ...

10am ... Miami @ Chicago then at 12.30pm ... Spurs @ Golden State

Here's Klay Thompson's 34 points from the 2nd game in San Antonio ...

Golden State even the series with a win over the Spurs in O/T ... Full highlights (game 5 is on ESPN on Wednesday - our time)

Games tomorrow ... Heat @ Bulls and OKC @ Memphis. For Chicago it's a must win and maybe it's the same for the Thunder.

Whilst I've been a little disappointed with Bogut's offense, he's definitely making a significant impact.

Bogut grabbed 18 rebounds, becoming the first Warriors player in 40 seasons to reach that total twice in the same postseason.

After today's results, is it too early to predict the likely Conference finalists?

Miami vs Indiana and San Antonio vs Memphis? (although the Warriors could win the last 2 games in that series against the Spurs)

Anyway .... here's the highlights from that Spurs/Golden State game 5.

GSW certainly have the ability to get through, Bogut getting into foul trouble early in the game certainly didn't help their cause.

Here's a recent Kevin Durant awkward moment.

Memphis play the Spurs in game 1 of the Western Conference final on Monday morning at 5am (ESPN) Fairly sure that ESPN are covering all the Conference final games. Hope so anyway.

Miami await the winner of the Knicks/Pacers series. Game 5 highlights

Knicks at the Pacers game 6 - ESPN 10am tomorrow.

... Preview with video

Point guard George Hill is out with a concussion, NBA rules requiring him to pass a concussion test before he can play again. The Pacers have no idea whether that will come in time for Saturday night's potential closeout game.

Spurs win game 1 vs the Grizzlies ... highlights San Antonio looked good. On a mission?

Meanwhile, over in the East, the Pacers coach had some interesting things to say. Don't poke the bear?

... LeBron responds to Frank Vogel

From LeBron ...

I don't understand what he's saying. But we're not just another team. That's not true. He said we're just another team in their way. We're a great team.

If we're just another team, you really don't prepare for just another team. You have to prepare for us."

Win or bust for Memphis tomorrow. Would like to see them win at least one game for their fans.

Miami way too strong for the Pacers today ... highlights

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
