End of Season for Aaron Davey

If you want to trade a player for something decent - as opposed to just getting him off the books or cutting a cancer out - you need to do so when he has value, not when he looks like he's no good...

Two options for 'Flash', who should now be more appropriately nicknamed "Dull Glow".

1. Give him another crack under the new coach

2. Offer as a trade makeweight to secure a decent player from another club

We may have little option but to opt for the former. I'm not confident though, he's proven to be too mentally fragile for the rough and tumble of 2012 footy.

He's also contracted 'til 2013. At a guess, he would have to have been front loaded with his contract. Given they did that with a few in the lean years (includes this year).

Ahh thanks for that, thought he only had the one year left on his deal for some reason.

Here's hoping whoever comes in can do a "Leon Davis" with him and turn his career around.

Absolutely. Opposite end of the ground to Leon might be the go, though.
