You implied that it is less of issue at club football because it is dealt with in "an all in brawl" rather than at the professional level.

Firstly a brawl does not resolve anything or mitigate any provoking situation.In fact it often makes the situation worse with the consequences of it (eg tribunal, fines, assault charges and litigation)

And secondly, the comment is not appropriate in any situation on any sporting field. There is no degree of mitigation because of the standard of the game. 20 years in the game should have given you that insight.
