Mid-season trade window

Featured Replies

Just announced on the Footy Show.

Apparently There may be a mid-season draft trade window as early as next year.

The idea was presented at the CEO's conference by Cameron Schwab.

Draft or trade?

I'm assuming trade.

It's a good idea, if people can swallow periphery players suddenly playing for another team.

Just looking at the Hun site and the tweets of the various journos. One says mid-season draft window and the other mid-season trade window. Either or both?

Great idea .. Surely it has to be trade.

Funnily enough I have put "trade" in the title and "draft" in my post.

The impression that I got was that it would be a trade window, not an extra draft.

edit: confirmed, trade window

More instability ..... another threat to club loyalty

If Cameron Schwab is throwing up ideas like that ... he has to go

I think there is talk of both a trade and draft mid-season. Damien Barrett mentioned something about VFL players getting a crack mid-season.

Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
