I think most people misunderstand what Leading Teams do.

They help create an environment that fosters leadership, and develop what leadership you have in you.

They help it to emerge.

They can't create leadership where none exists.

I think, in the future, whether many realise it or not, we'll be seeing the benefits of LT in our currently young players, as they step forward and lead the club.

The issue has been that the senior players we've had on the list, that should be leading the kids until they mature a bit, have been bereft of leadership skills.

That's been clear for a long time (Rivers openly admitted it, Green wasn't even in the leadership group, etc.)
