Injury List

Frawley is a huge loss, McKenzie not far behind (how much do we need tacklers?) and then Morton as well...

Could be worse I guess, but I think only Jamar, and maybe Green would be names I'd want to see on this list LESS.

Of the players listed, there are probably a few on there that would not get a game this season if they were fit.

Hoping Fitzy and Davis can get fit and push for a game. I think as far as rookies go Tommy, Newton and Campbell would have to be behind Michael Evans for a rookie promotion. I liked what I saw from Evans during the NAB Cup. He could be a find.

Morton/Chip/Jordie will be missed, but hopefully our troops can cover them until they are 100%. All 3 currently reside in our best 22.

Does anyone know how Kelvin Lawrence is tracking, havnt herd a thing from him since being drafted.

I am told from reliable sources that Lawrence played an outstanding game against Box Hill at the weekend. One of the best games ever seen by a recruit basically playing for his first time at a new club.(That is what I was actually told).Davey has stated- don't be surprised if he played for the seniors sometime this year. Great news hey?

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
