I'm loving it, The Age think we've got the most talent and best bunch of kids and they haven't even mentioned the likes of Tapscott, Gysberts, Blease, Strauss & Fitzpatrick.

The footy world isn't going to know what hit them when these kids develop along with the names already mentioned in the article. Also there will be one Jack Viney to come in also! :)

How can you take him seriously if he can't even get the final ladder positions right!!!

I appologise, only came across it today. Still love the fact we've still got a stack of talent waiting in the wings that the rest of the football world isn't even aware of!

Nice name drops in the article, but the reality is that is only the tip of the iceberg. We have a stack of kids that are going to be solid AFL players, and even potential stars.

Gysberts work against Geelong was a season highlight for me. There is something about him the reeks of James Hird. Of all the kids on our list Gysberts is the one that could be anything.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
