Absolute rubbish! I really wish people would stop posting this tripe. The GC can take one uncontracted player from each club for free. If they want others, they can trade for them.

Settle down DH.

Did it really affect you that much that I was incorrect? There has been a bit of ambiguity in the information regarding picks etc for GC and the like.

Glad that you are here to steer us all in the right direction.

It was far from rubbish or tripe, rather what I believed at the time that has since been corrected.

The AFL have been very clever in this regard, by providing such complicated and numerous avenues to GC's list creation it is really hard to work out exactly how well they'll do out of it all, or how dudded the exising clubs are. Complaining about it is difficult because no-one actually understands it, and writing articles about stuff no-one understands makes for poor reading.

It's not that hard to understand even for amateurs like us let alone for professional footy journalists - are you David Schwarz?

If you've read a lot of the information released by the AFL itself, it is often vague and contradictory in regard to previous releases on GC17 and GWS concessions.

They never make any effort to correct previously released info, leading to mass confusion.
