This could be the best decision made by the Footy department in the last 5 years right here.

I'm one of very few that would have actually preferred to keep mclean. i still would. Mclean is currently playing through a bit of an injury. We know he isn't at his best, but at the end of the day, his disposals and leadership will always be better than Gysberts.

At the end of the day, dead set Freak, you've either entered a new phase purple patch for statements with no factual clout, or you have turned a Blue.

Keep entertaining the troops though, it's priceless.

Yeah, Brock's disposals will always be better than the Gys in heavy traffic....yesss. He's leadership at Oktoberfest has certainly set the bar high. I'm sure the Blue baggers are happy with he's output on field too. Something for the Gys to certainly aspire to. :)

  • POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide

The Demons were wasteful early before putting the foot down early in the 2nd quarter but they chased tail for the remainder of the match. They could not get their first use of the footy after half time and when they did poor skills, execution and decision making let them down.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.
