Junction Oval Tour with Nathan Jones

This video is old (but still golden) From memory it was early this season, no focus at that stage on Casey and OP sites... Plus, who cares, it's just a bit of a joker video.

Thanks for that. It is a bit of fun - but posting it now does create the impression that it is current.

Anyway pre-season did start at the Junction Oval ... so my question is the same - why aren't we out at Casey?

I am under the impression casey is for match day simulation and summer training, Being spring and very early pre season with weights being the order of the day.

I thought everything was going to be in the one place. Perhaps that is pending building works out at Casey. As long as we have to use the Junction Oval for weights etc, we have crap facilities..... hardly the sort of facilities that will attract Luke Ball

Spot on Toots.

For a hint on the age of the video, check out around 2 min 45 sec into it. Garland up and about in the red and blue. I assume it must have been just prior to round 2 or so, when his foot flared up.

Man, I hope we get to see Col like this again soon.

Hmm. This is interesting. Have a look at about the 4:15 mark of the video and you will notice in the background on a whiteboard, cut outs of Terry Wallets' sacking from the newspapers. They've probably got it up there because we ended Wallet's coaching career.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
