NOT EASY BEING GREEN

PJ picks up more possessions around the ground than Jamar which is why i think he can be more dangerous. Sure some of his possessions are more dangerous to us than them but what can i say i still like PJ and hope he can turn it around.

Have to disagree with you here IMT. PJ's disposal is just crap. He's had so long now to prove himself at this level. His time should be up already, and we should be playing Spencer, who has a much, much higher chance of making it at AFL level. We are wasting our time with PJ, whether we want to win or we don't.

On the contrary I have continually wished him well and recognised his career achievements.

I have never questioned his desire to keep playing. Just that he is no longer good enough and he cant see that. He is not the first player and I have evidence others.

Spare us the childish melodrama. You're once more off the mark, trivial and completely two faced in your judgements. Shouldn't expect much more than that on past form. Good grief.

Your acidic condemnation of players like PJ makes your overblown defence of your protected species laughable and ridiculous. But you would be the last to see that as usual.

It's just an opinion, I've heard a couple of clubs are potentially interested in picking him up... I think if he feels he can keep going and a club picks him up, they'd have more of an idea than any of us.... So we'll see who's right come PSD

I personally think he's still capable of averaging 2-3 goals a game, and on a top team would be a very damaging 3rd type option... What do you think about him having kicked 20 in 10 games this year when as a team our forward has had it pretty hard? Surely that is decent return for sum1 who is in your opinion past it?

But hey, thanks for the memories robbo, good luck for the future

we had a great game on the weekend against freo, but sloppy but it was wet,

i don't think robbo isn't strong enough as he used to be, does anyone else agree?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
