You can rest easy........I'll make sure your post goes into the time capsule too.

Mate you can post this in the time capsule for us all to read for evermore.

If Richmond appoint Buckley without a formal interview process ... I was wrong.

Seriously if they do what your "inside" source is claiming ... I will wet my pants laughing.

If the Tigers go to an interview process ... your "mates" ... are idiots.

PS I have had an inside tip that the favorite for this years Melbourne cup is going to win the race .... :o :o :o

No.

Interview process or no interview process.....I didn't mention anything about this. And I didn't mention anything about "mates" either. Read the posts, don't make assumptions.

I don't really care if you're wrong. I've arrived with some 'mail'. They'll obviously go through a process. He will probably go through as one of the candidates. My mail is - now read carefully - the feelers have been out there, the job is his - "if he wants it".

Take this on merit. He may decide otherwise. He has an option.

It's quite obvious he's linked to his former club, Collingwood. I'm not saying he 'will' coach Richmond. It is up to him.

Are we 'crystal'?

I dare you.

Think its you who needs to read the post and stop making the assumptions.

and I quote ...

Some incoming mail from those in the know at Tigerland.

Nathan Buckley.

The jobs his - if he wants it.

This clearly implies that Richmond have already made a decision (FULL-STOP) ...

.... I dont think so.

I'm saying thats a whole lot of fabricated garbage.

Your ... so called mail is absolute fabrication. You have arrived here with ... nothing.

You are talking "verbal" rubbish and your backing down and giving your self an escape route if your fabrication does not come true when challenged ... "He may decide otherwise. He has an option.

" ...

Let me tell you this just so we ... "Are we 'crystal'?" ... RICHMOND have made no decisions yet ... the so called leak ... "The jobs his - if he wants it." is absolute rubbish.

Now let me also repeat ... so we are crystal ... This is not to say Buckley is not a candidate, this is not to say Buckley cant get the job ...

... its more a comment about stupid Tiger supporters suggesting their own club would appoint a coach without a formal interview process ... their idiots.

Also probably more a reflection on people that parrot those comments as well.

Just so we are "Crystal" ... ;) ;) ;)

I hope the Dogs beat them by 100 points

No 45 we want Richmond to win so that they can finish 9th & get NOTHING!!

Just noticed another minor point in your whole arguement

"He will probably go through as one of the candidates "

why "probably" - why bother if your "inside mail" is correct "the job is his - if he wants it"

Now let me also make it "crystal" ... these comments just dont make sense.

Yes. Perhaps the word 'probably' wasn't a good description. I should have used 'likely'.

Thanks for going through my posts with a fine tooth comb. :P

Fwiw, if you don't like what you read and if you think it's 'a whole lot of fabricated garbage'.....ignore it.

I wouldn't have posted it, if I thought the same.

Yeah ... no problems. Just read this "inside mail" stuff all the time ... makes me laugh

Its just all fabricated and so easy for the people you know at Tigerland to make up their own little "inside mail" ... Newspaper journalist do it all the time

1/ Pick obvious candidate ie candidate x ... start spreading the fabricated rumor you have "inside mail" x has the job.

Now if candidate x

a/ Does get the job .... You start boasting .... look how good my mail was. We were first with the inside mail.

b/ If he doesn't get the job ... Your escape route ... it was his job he just didn't want it.

Tigers take the "tanking option" ... this is disgraceful. I'm now 100% convinced after last nights effort they are a big threat to win the spoon ... we are easily a 10 goal better side than them.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
