Had a look at the goal chart on 'Game Day live' and was amazed at just how we scored (eventually) Brad Green's first. Starting from the back pocket, we took no fewer than 14 possessions in a row to get the ball to Greeny. It was zig zagging all over the ground.( Maybe you could call it a team goal as so many had a touch) Compare Bruce's first goal. From the half back flank Green passed to Bate who passed to Bruce who goaled. 3 kicks only needed. I know we are not the only team guilty of over possession of the footy, but what have we got to lose by direct play down the middle now and then and maybe even shock the opposition!

At least we are kicking goals from these passages of play. In the first three rounds we haven't been major victims of set-shot kicking.

There were a few runs out of the backline where the Power didn't touch the ball....

This also happened in the first half against the Filth.....

It is passages of play like these that keep my spirits up during these tough times....
