Like most of the diehards on this site , I regularly scour the pages of The HeraldSun and The Age for signs of life at my beloved football club , and call me daft , one-eyed , or blinkered , but I believe we have received more coverage ( mostly informative and positive ) in the last 2 weeks than even The Scum , The Tankers , and The Bummers ,the perennial lovechildren of the editors who are trying to artificially enhance sales .

Feelgood recent articles about Watts , Barassi , Connolly , our other newest recruits , Bailey , Green , McLean , Casey Fields ,our membership numbers , and of course , Jimma , are just a few of those stories that immediately spring to mind and keep me feeling optimistic about the path ahead .

True. Although both the Filth and Tankers had much bigger photo's of there new recruits - so too the Bombers, than our clubs. I was a little disappointed with the size of the picture of our boys. I was hoping for bigger exposure myself. Perhaps even backpage! Guess I just want what is best for the club.
