Jack Watts' amazing draft camp results

Featured Replies

Repeat Sprints (6 x 30m) - equal 7th – 25.44s

Height - 10th - 195.8cm (He's still growing, gained almost 2cms in 6 months!!)

Weight - Not in the top 10, 10th was 88.50kg so he's less then that

Agility - (40m zig-zag) - 2nd - 8.03s

3km time trial - Not in the top 10, as expected

Standing Vertical Leap - 5th - 70cm

20m Sprint - 2nd - 2.82s (3rd fastest in DC history)

Beep Test - Not top 10, but i know he ran a 13.6, DC average is a 13.3, so a KP to run 13.6 is quite high

^^ Thanks to McLean_4_Captain from BigFooty.

Watts is not the only boy growing. NikNat is now 200.9cm and 94kg. He is now a genuine ruckman size with complimentary leap.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
