Power Puts Top Picks on the table

Featured Replies

It never ceases to amaze me how supporters can think that players who are borderline best 22 and are one bad year, or closer, to getting delisted are able to yield a pick such as 18 in a fantastic draft. The packaging of them together makes it even funnier. Crap + Crap + Crap = quality pick.

Fail.

finally someone makes sense

Brad Green is worth a top 10 pick on his own mate- i suggest you learn

15 other clubs fans have already stated they'd do that. Pick 5 for garland was accepted by bombers fans FFS.

you obviously as well have no idea about the trading caper

Brad Green for top 10 pick? Sorry to disappoint you mate but no one is going to trade away a top 10 pick for a 28 yo.

not a big fan of Aeron Davey?........

I am a fan! But I am realistic too!

If we throw him up, clubs will show interest.

Our big fish on the same hook as a toad could get us that top 6 pick! Which could be a marlin!

Jones and pick 35 for pick 4. Bell and pick 51 for pick 22?

Yeah good call Pax, then our only next move would be to turn water into wine, and then trade White and Yze to WC for pick 2

Well I'm not that optomistic, but would love it if they were that stupid!

Apparently you're almost that optomistic.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG to face the Tigers in their annual Blockbuster on ANZAC Eve for the 10th time. The Dees will be desperate to reignite their stuttering 2025 campaign and claim just their second win of the season. Can the Demons dig deep and find that ANZAC Spirit to snatch back to back wins?
