I really admire McGregor. What a clubman. I think he was much maligned by Adelaide supporters, BUT, he had the fortitude to retire, with a year still remaining on his contract, because it was the best for the club.

Pity Carroll, White, Yze et al didn't take the the same unselfish approach, particularly Carroll.
