What a great effort in the Debt Demonlition dinner. What an night for the club

As im a uni student i obviously couldnt afford to go to that dinner, but I was just wondering if there are any more events coming up this month?

Ive looked on the Melbourne CLub page and couldnt find any info

I want to donate 1000 to the club, but not sure if theres another event that i can go to, if not i will just do it on the debt demonlition.

ANy info would be great. GO DEES

I'm not real sure of the details either and the email I have received doesn't give much insight into any events apart from the one after the round 22 match to thank the people.

I was hoping their might have been a few activities as such on the way. I have asked a few questions to the club asking if they are auctioning any match worn guernseys this year like they have in previous years and was told in about a month which would make it August, was hoping it would tie in with debt demolition month. I would have thought activities such as this would have been sure fire money makers.

There is definately another event planned for $500-plus donators.

Correct - that's been mentioned previously.

There's also the free event at the end of August, after our last game of the season.

Hi all, I am not a regular poster but do enjoy keeping tabs on the goings on both here and at Demonology.

For anyone who lives in Adelaide or is coming across for the Round 21 clash with Port Adelaide a dinner is being organised with Jimmy Stynes. This will be held at the Athelstone Football Club and will cost $30 per head (excluding drinks). Initial info is in the members email sent out by the club earlier today.

I'll post more information on this site as the arrangements are finalised.

Anyone wanting to attend simply has to send me an email at [email protected]

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
