hows does it works is:

you post your favorite song lyrics and then replacing them with lyrics related to the dees.

Heres an example.

Well I just heard the news today

It seems my life is going to change

Well i just heard a loss today

its seems our pride is going away.

I'll have a go,

"It's a Grand Old Flag..."?

not a favourite song as such but well sung by the Barmy Army

Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves:

Britons never will be slaves.

Rule the Demons! We rule the M.C.G

It's OUR ground as YOU-WILL-SEE!

Plan A, but kind of hard to keep going when your 10 goals down

Plan B song, same tune

2008's a bastard, that we all can see

At least its means next year we get Nat-A-Nui

A big one, it's My Chemial Romance's Welcome to the black parade with lyrics changed to represent the Round 7 victory over the shockers:

When I was a young boy,

My father took me into the city

To see a marching band.

He said,

"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,

The beaten and the damned?"

He said

"Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?"

Because one day I leave you,

A phantom to lead you in the summer,

To join the black parade."

When I was a young boy,

My father took me into the city

To see a marching band.

He said,

"Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,

The beaten and the damned?"

Sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me.

And other times I feel like I should go. Through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets.

When you're gone we want you all to know We'll Carry on,

We'll Carry on

Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on

Carry on

We'll carry on

And in my heart I cant contain it

The anthem wont explain it.

And we will send you reeling from decimated dreams

Your misery and hate will kill us all

So paint it black and take it back

Lets shout it loud and clear

Do you fight it to the end

We hear the call to

[ Welcome To The Black Parade lyrics found on http://www.completealbumlyrics.com ]To carry on

We'll carry on

Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're broken and defeated You're weary widow marches on

And on we carry through the fears

Ooh oh ohhhh

Disappointed faces of your peers Ooh oh ohhhh

Take a look at me cause

I could not care at all Do or die

You'll never make me

Cause the world, will never take my heart

You can try, you'll never break me

Want it all,

I'm gonna play this part

Wont explain or say i'm sorry

I'm not ashamed,

I'm gonna show my scar

You're the chair, for all the broken Listen here, because it's only..

I'm just a man,

I'm not a hero

Just a boy, who's meant to sing this song

Just a man,

I'm not a hero

I -- don't -- care

Carry on

We'll carry on

Though your dead and gone believe me Your memory will carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're broken and defeated You're weary widow marches on

We'll carry on

We'll carry on

We'll carry on

We'll carry

We'll carry on

_______________

When I was a young boy,

My father took me to the MCG

To visit Demonland.

He said,

"Son when you grow up, will you be a supporter of the broken,

The beaten and the damned?"

He said

"Will you defend them, the Demons, against the non believers, the plans Dean Bailey made?"

Because one day he’ll join you,

A saviour to lead you in round seven,

To break a black O-eight."

When I was a young boy,

My father took me to the MCG

To visit Demonland.

He said,

"Son when you grow up, will you be a supporter of the broken,

The beaten and the damned?"

It was an awful Sunday, at the MCG.

At half time I felt like I should go. Through it all, the rise and fall, the sobbing in our seats.

half the crowds gone we want you all to know We'll Carry on,

We'll Carry on

Though your dead and gone at half time Wonaemirri will carry on

Carry on

We'll carry on

And in my heart I cant contain it

Commentators can’t explain it.

That second half of game time ended my decimated dreams

Their passion and their guts did shock us all

picked up the slack and took it back

Lets shout it loud and clear

We’ll fight it to the end

We hear the call to

To carry on

We'll carry on

Though your dead and gone at half time Wonaemirri will carry on

We'll carry on

And though the Dees were all defeated The Melbourne spirit marches on

In the Box Bailey ends our fears

Ooh oh ohhhh

Disappointed faces of his peers Ooh oh ohhhh

Take a look at us cause

we’re the greatest team of all

Neitz sings:

Quit the dees?

You'll never make me

Cause the world, will never take my heart

You can try, you'll never break me

Want it all,

I'm gonna play this part

Wont explain or say i'm sorry

I'm not ashamed,

I'm gonna show my scars

You're the chair, for all the broken Listen here, because it's only..

Wonaemirri Sings:

I'm just a man,

I'm not a hero

Just a boy, who's meant to sing this song

Just a man,

I'm not a hero

I -- don't -- care

Carry on

We'll carry on

Though your dead and gone at half time Wonaemirri will carry on

We'll carry on

And though the Dees were all defeated The mighty club cam back and won.

We'll carry on

We'll carry on

We'll carry on

We'll carry

We'll carry on

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
