  1. Apparently it was mentioned on Fox Footy on TV earlier this evening that Clayton Oliver could well be the early favourite for the 2023 Brownlow Medal. Any thoughts on this? Obviously Premiership Medallions are far more valuable, but it would be a wonderful individual achievement if our Clarrie could win this year's Brownlow Medal for 2023. Anyway, if he continues to have outstanding performances like he did in his 150th game with 25+ possessions and kicks 2 or 3 goals again he will definitely keep gaining votes from the umpires. Especially as there are now 4 field umpires. So I am now assuming the votes are 4, 3, 2, 1 rather than the previous 3, 2, 1? However, I am unsure how the voting system will work this year in games compared to previous years. I guess we shall wait and see? Either way, it would be fantastic to have a new Brownlow Medallist at the Melbourne Football Club. It has been a long time since Shane Woewodin won a Brownlow Medal back in 2000. Fingers crossed it could be our Clarrie in 2023! 🤞 We really are incredibly lucky to have such a champion footballer like Clayton Oliver at the Melbourne Football Club! GO DEMONS!!! 🔴🔵👹
  2. Just thought this deserved a separate thread on Demonland. As mentioned by @WalkingCivilWarin another thread, it will be Clayton Oliver's 150th game for the Melbourne Football Club. Clayton Oliver, only one third of the way through his career, at 25 years of age has to be one of the greatest Demons players in the modern era. You gotta love Clarrie. I hope he wins more Premierships for the Demons and also grabs that elusive Brownlow Medal one day. Clayton Oliver is a Champion for the Melbourne Football Club. I hope he goes on to play at least 350 or even 400 games for the Demons. I encourage as many Melbourne supporters as possible to attend the match against the Swans on Sunday at the MCG to say a massive THANK YOU to Clarrie in his 150th game for the Demons! His "bang, bang bang!" goal late in the 3rd Quarter of the 2021 AFL Grand Final will never be forgotten! Fingers crossed Clayton Oliver plays, many, many more magnificent games for the Melbourne Football Club! Congratulations on 150 games for the Demons Clarrie! 🔴🔵👹
  3. Just wanted to ask people's opinions on who will win this year's Keith "Bluey" Truscott Trophy for 2022? There's an article about it found here: https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1229898 Personally, I think it will be either Clayton Oliver or Christian Petracca with Steven May as a dark horse to win it. I definitely think it will be pretty close this year! My top 5 for the Demons Best & Fairest would be: 1) Clayton Oliver 2) Christian Petracca 3) Steven May 4) Max Gawn 5) Jack Viney Anyway, please let me know who you think will be your top 5 in the Melbourne Demons Best & Fairest for 2022 ok?
  4. why isn't the club celebrating this wonderful kid reaching his 100th game?

  6. After watching Oliver's blinder of a first half, I thought about who else we're going to debut throughout the year. Tracs a given, is Max King a possibility? Hunt? Maybe even Weeds if Frost or Pedo are injured. Who do you guys think'll pull on the red and blue for the first time this year?
