  1. reading through the posts in the last 12 hours. weve finally grown some coconuts. now WE are as one. PR plays this us against them game very well. this issue has united the club. bout time.
  2. if the result stands and i think it might, its actually a small win for our club. if it went to the MRP=4 weeks for sure. now we have PR and the whole club snorting and raging about treatment of one of our players and big brother picking on us.. it was richmonds favourite trick to start the "them against us" attitude. now our coach is pouring petrol on the fire and just at the right time, after a win and a chance to get another 1/2 wins in quick succession. the verdict stinks, but we can whinge about it until the cows come home it wont change. accept it,use it,build on it. P:R just loves these situations.
  3. was answering a question. but to continue on the sensible path. sassy wants a clear cut experienced ruckman. he suggests clark from freo, and expressed"what would it take to get him". im may be wrong, but an untried 19 yo with no games might be a steal of a trade.
  4. 3 questions there big fella. PR,always willing to trade. sassy asked the question,i answered it but continue on your merry way..
  5. ok,i will say it. hoges. should also say,PR is one of the few coaches in the league to want to give up something to get something. most clubs are scared to give one away, but roos doesnt mind this as he respects the trade cycle.
  6. take em to the rocky horror show.
  7. interesting the law does state ANY player,so 36 on the field id imagine. fact is if he went to the MRP 4-6. going to tribunal maybe 2,with a chance to get off. viney was travelling in the direction of the pill and he braced no jumped for impact. maybe the crow and georgie should be cited for not taking evasive action.
  8. go with the miniskirt.
  9. hhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa nobody goes to gippsland ,unless of course they are .... ooohhh sorry.
  10. like i said, his chances at the tribunal are far better than the MRP. dont panic.
  11. with special guests making appearances. biff to read out 10-7 bbo=6-4 redleg wheeling old dee on while dc holds his catharta in place. Rab=to read out the top 3,{hes the only one with glasses that can magnify the writing}
  12. gurday OD,power back on at the repat?
  13. best bit of good luck weve had all year. if it went to MRP he wouldve got 4. if it goes to a tribunal sitting he has a chance to get off.
  14. aarrrrggghhh bravado, honesty, and genuine reality.kudos DC all rolled into one post, pat on the back for you my friend and lets get rid of these old buggers clogging up the site.
  15. great example, ive seen many times at all clubs. ive also seen it at local level, some players just dont follow the game in that respect, all good blokes but it doesnt come natural to them.i dont have a problem with pedders because he supplies other things to the team. but that example can be shown mant times over with every club in the league. i can also show you examples of other players in the league including our team that make fundamental mistakes. every player has a downside, and needs to repair some aspects of thier game. maybe you have a needle against this bloke. same as i have one against JW.
  16. mystery is gonna brew from this. after the siren goes, there is NO set limit on how long a player takes to have a kick at goal. but in theory there MUST be some sort of limit ,it hasnt been abused by players as yet.
  17. neeld tried to use the magoos for making players earn their spot and regain form when needed. he also instigated the building up of younger players and not exposing them to early. but bad luck and probably a dysfunctional footy department didnt help him. he did make sure younger players got their bodies looked after and programmed to a full year of senior footy. PR,is and rightly so getting the pats on the back from fans, for the effort so far this year. his reputation and the past form of our club ensures a trust has begun. that and the extra mids has pushed recently tried mids further out and allowed pedder, byrnes and others to play a role. jamar back, terlich less turnovers, dunny holds down tuff spot, garland and others can be stremed back at the right time. regular selections and gameplan meetings also add to the stabilisation. yesterday discussing GCS,it was noted that their team is now ready for footy as they have been together 3 years and have a KNOWN team structure to overcome challenges. our team structure is currently being built and dropping players wont help those structures put in place. yes, bynes, terlich, jamar, pedders and others are important to the structure and thats why trust is building.
  18. biff is still recovering ,but will transcribe it sometime this afternoon.
  19. people read another book that gives numerical connotations and make television shows out of it. in the future 1,000 years from now man will study the pyraminds, bible and our book bitty would be classed as some kind of alien coming to earth to teach mankind new evolutionary ways. biff, would be thought of as some low level priest that led common man away from good living. RaB would be seen as the roman general and dictator levellng the arguments to rudimentry everyday rules. old dee,as some kind of ancient man that lived to a grand old age and wouldnt die, false teeth, hips, eyes, brain, heart and liver. redleg, the soothsayer and mystic that was half man half horse{top half horse}. daisycutter.the unknown force that knew all,and spoke all.
  20. your old picture was much more appreciated. dunny looks like he is enjoying his footy.
  21. yep dunno bout that, jury still out PR,doesnt give games to reserve players unless warranted. likes to stick with same 22 if possible. learn how to defend a game together, and learn when and how to attack. classic shutdown footy is a team thing and PR wont change things when everybody is sticking to the game plan. macdonald is growing in confidence every game, lets not sweat on his mistakes yet.
  22. lifted the elbow a bit,and then he wouldve made sure of it.
  23. yep agree with that. and we nearly blew it,is good for the team to understand calmness in tight situations. PR.shut the game down and see who wins a dogfight, suits some of our players and certainly doesnt suit some oppo players. thats why under his regime the gravediggers flourish.
  24. 3 demon fans arrested in stkilda junction this morning at 9.30. when they told the coppers about celebrating beating adelaide and carlton in the same year, the police laughed their heads off and took them back to ramshackle living quarters. one of them puked in the back of the divvy van and the other 2 cleaned it up and put onto a pizza tray,{lunch at the gat} i just see that classic picture from the hangover with biff/bbo/ and RaB waking up monday morning and looking for a ciggie butt to light up and start the new week.
