Seems you were spot on, the wife just pointed out that instagram has Watts in Byron Bay a day ago.
After the pre-season debacle, I'd be very surprised if he did anything without the club's blessing.

Not sure how I feel about him. Strikes me as the sort of bloke who has to tell everyone his opinion. I was confused as to why he needed to get involved on the Fasolo issue so early. Seemed opportunistic to me.

I'm not sure why so many Dees fans treat JKH as their whipping boy. He's in a similar situation to ANB last year where he is having ripping games in the guts at VFL level and then being expected to kick a bag and rack up touches from the forward pocket in the AFL.
If Goodwin plays him as an inside mid, there's no reason he can't build his game in a similar mould to Lachie Neale.

Never a great comparison IMO due to their positional differences. However Natanui averaging under 2 marks a game as a ruckman is pretty damning.
Watt's hit out for the Garlett to Hannan goal was pretty damn impressive. Can ruck!

Tippet was winning everyone's praise last year with this ruck/forward work. Would be worth it on a performance based contract.

Added bonus in getting Levi would be to contribute further to the Blues' forward-line diaspora.

Would you consider deleting this thread? I haven't seen the video but based on comments/strong innuedno above, which may be totally untrue, it has shades of the Bennell in Tas hotel and Carlisle in the states stories and they both ended very badly for player and club.
Jesse and the club certainly don't need the distraction.
Journo's are more likely to get wind of a story on DL than are less well moderated forums.

Here's a quote from a Geelong fan on Big Footy. Been a long time since I've heard a Geelong fan threatened by us!
QuoteQuoteAll I want to see see today is a full 4 quater effort... none of this show up at half time and steal the game late. I fear that a now quality opposition like melbourne will show much more resistence to a late fightback than north Melbourne did.If Geelong from the first 3 quarters last week show up, dees by 4 goalsIf the other Geelong decide to show up, cats by 13 points.- 2

Don't talk Wattsy up, AMTAW.....it's not the done thing around these here parts.....
Some of the criticism on here is really dumb regarding Watts.
Having said that, it was a classic Watts game yesterday. Did some really horrible stuff, which just makes you shake your head. Next minute he'd pop up and do something that not many others could, like the aforementioned kick and a superb pack mark.

Did anyone see that kick at half forward from Watts in the last quarter that found Hogan?
It almost felt as if he was the only one who saw Hogan running into that space. Everyone around me, including myself expected him to bomb it inside 50 or down the line. Was absolutely sublime.

That is fantastic news for Reiwoldt!
I saw the incident with Smith, and there doesn't seem much malice in the intent. It looks like a single motion.
I can't stand Reiwoldt, but anyone who thinks him falling onto Smith and dislocating his shoulder was deliberate has rocks in their head.

No match replay unless you subscribe to AFL or a Telstra customer now. Just the highlights on AFL website and this .....
I've paid for their useless app and there's no replay. My brother has access to it, but noy me. God telstra are useless.

Does anyone know what time the replay goes up on the AFL site?

We will be outcoached again I suspect. Reiwoldt 20 possessions and 4 goals. Montagna 32 possessions. Steven 30 possessions. Membrey his annual 5 goal haul against the Demons.
Thankfully Montagna isn't playing.

I don't mind it.
Hamish is clearly the odd one out. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to add him to the team. The bloke de-rails just about every conversation with some inane comment and you can tell the other guys don't rate him as a bloke.
Hero-worshipper is probably the best way to describe. Not sure if he's trying to become the next Bruce or not....

I put him in the same bracket as Grimes. A great club servant, but doesn't fit the mould of where we're going.
We have recruited players who play on and look to break lines. Garland is slow to turn around, kicks it sideways or goes down the boundary. I know we did see glimpses of a player in 2011/12, but that's all it was.

Today Jordan Lewis was teaching the boys about the fine points of unsociable football, viney went the best in unsociable drills, watts just could not get his head around it, CP5 would do it with a smile, nev hit the hardest, pedo duck his head, Angus kept getting his head knocked and omac did not see it coming, overall it was a well run drill, but many egos where bruised and Tyson hurt his knee again, some will question if it had any benefit to it, others will say they have done it as well, others will be scratching their heads
They should run a "piss taking course" for Demonlanders who don't get a joke.

T Bugg --- and all his untapped potential. god love him.
Is it too late to offer Grimes, Terlich, Jones and Michie? Four for one is a pretty good deal right!?
Remember when we used to actually suggest trades like this?

Interesting, but how can we be on top of the list if he is set to turn everyone down?

Is it just me or is Hunt massively over rated around here?
I don't think people on here overrate Hunt at all. The way I see it is people are more excited about what he could become.
I personally believe Hunt has shown more than Petracca in his short stint in the seniors. There are not many first season players (not counting his two injury riddled seasons) who can break lines, kick goals and take contested marks like he has done on multiple occasions.
I don't believe the excitement is misplaced at all.

Inside word I have lines up with most of what is written here.
Got injured and requested a trip to Byron instead of focusing on rehab. Apparently this has majorly [censored] off the club. This was coming from a Storm player.
