He is slowly getting better, will get a go next year, no doubt, no chance to be delisted, hasd such athletisicsm, that he does need to really be given every chance! I hope they don't ask Stef to help out, id rather just give Meeson a run! Jeff, well breing a great club man, appreciate all he's done, but again, id rather see Meeson thrown in!

Yes, I know its been said before, but I still think its intersesting, especially with Gill's performance today! we need a quality target up forward: Nick Gill, what a great game he had today, 20 disp, 11 marks, 5 goals! A good solid ruckman who can kick goals: Darren Jolly A midfielder who can play inside & outside, and hurt the opostion by foot, and kick goals: Scott Thompson (still hurts I know, but was always gonna go..) A midfielder/flanker, who has quality finishing and good disposal: Travis Johnstone (still a good trade in hindsight, but, still..) An older staunch defender, to lead and help develop the Garland, Martin/Warnock Brigade: Nathan Bassett Notice a common theme here guys? Aint hindsight a wonderful thing... Bit of tongue and cheek, but very interesting none the less!! And don't forget, a little off track, as he was never a demon, but the Sewell for Ferguson trade (which WE backed out of, at last second, no matter what others have heard, thats what happened, Fergy wanted to stay, so we gave it up.. still really grates at me, but what are ya gonna do..

Juice was graet, and gave alot of great chases's.. was really good t see.. should of kicked 4 or 5! Cale was simply awesome, cant wait for him after another pre-season, well ahead of schedule, a real geniune superstar in the making, lets hope we can keep him when the time comes.. im sure we will though!

Grat point, and well said.. This is my point! what has he done at AFL level?? not alot, yes hasnt had a hell of alot of chances, but enough! Absolutely NO ONE inside the league would give a top 5 pick in this draft for him, let alone no.1!

NO! He is currently inj, but has played 7 or 8 games this year! HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR PICK ! OF A NATIONAL DRAFT, END OF STORY! Especially not a draft being compared to the 2001 superdraft! I am hearing everywhere Brad is on his way elsewhere.. its a 50/50 apparently.. It will depend on what is on offer.. Hawks, Saints and Pies all over him allegedly.. Will be interesting to see, but I think he may stay if offered the C gig!

We have a few players who could be "superstars".. Most likely will be Morton & Garland, he could be one of the great backmen! While Cale could truly be a grat player, wherever he ends up! he has got alot of good judges buzzing.. Yes, we have got some big injuries, however Bell, as mentioned earlier, is not in our best 25, let alone 18!!

I actually think SYlvia for Davey would be more in EFC favour.. No.3 draft pick, who has the skill, and although he has been disappointing, still has a higher overall worth of davey.. I think we'd take a deal like that if they added a mid pick! I think Alwyn would be great, but im not saying he's a star either! We'll just have to see if we make an offer..

Heard today from someone who's word I respect, he has spoken to the club about whether we'd be interested in his services.. Id heard a couple of rumours last week, but this is good info.. He initiated contact apparently.. Just coming back from a new, but he would IMO surely have to be welcomed at MFC! STill young, so fits recruitment policy, and the knee is apparently healing well! This will be interesting to follow!

Well said mate, could not agree more! He really needs to work on his defensive side, thats my main issue with him, and the clubs! The word is though he has quite a high trade value, so its gonna be intruiging!

Cant believe he hasnt been nominated! he will soon though! Im so rapt with his efforts, finds the ball so well.. Yes his field kicking can improve, but thats easy fix, he has the smarts, the athleticism, and geniune footy instinct.. plus he is 6'4 and could develop into anything!
