  1. Will we see the introduction of a reverse COLA allowance, a COSA, cost of staying allowance.
  2. So currently we have the two most recent expansion clubs struggling on and off the field. Relying heavily on AFL funding to survive, low memberships, a concerning trend of quality players requesting a trade at seasons end, stuck in the bottom half of the ladder for what seems like eternity and last season we had the Suns trading Jack Bowes and pick 7 to Geelong to ease salary cap pressures. Who exactly and how much are they paying these players to find themselves in this position? I thought I read years ago that clubs that were in these positions had an AFL appointment accountant assigned to them to try and avoid these situations. In addition we have Hawks : Intentionally tanking over 2-4 year period to cash in before Tassie’s draft concessions come into play. North : Less than six months ago they were a Clarko signature away from becoming irrelevant. Currently struggling in terms of their playing list. W.C.E : In addition to injuries they have an aging list and previous poor trades and starting to hurt them. I must be watching a different game if anyone thinks a 19th or 20th is a good idea for our competition. The argument that an extra game will generate X amount of extra funding is ridiculous, on average there will be 3-4 games a week not worth watching. What are the main reasons players are leaving the Suns and GWS? Are they home sick / family reasons? Do they not like where they’re living ? Or are they chasing success at a successful club? Possibly a combination of these things, but I think ultimately the latter. What makes so many people think player retention won’t be an issue for a Tasmanian team. I’m all for a team in Tasmania but another club must make way, 18 teams must be the maximum, we don’t have the population or talent to justify further expansion.
  3. Late in the game, 2 points in it, and they’re using the corridor and it’s paying off.
  4. So it’s only us that continually bombs it inside 50. Port and Saints one entry each and its low and direct all be it the port kick was off target.
  5. Why doesn’t the AFL do an anonymous survey of all current players and juniors aged 15-18 asking whether anyone would want to relocate to Tassie.
  6. I like the idea but the AFL don’t like admitting they got things wrong. The Dolphins have had more success in the first 8 weeks.
  7. I think your right, I’m not a fan of it.
  8. Or is the introduction of a 19th to coincide with players being traded anywhere without their consent?
  9. So which team is making way for them?
  10. Did it, they had a say where they wanted to go though which is the extension of it.
  11. Just saw an article on FB about the AFL considering players to be traded without their consent.
  12. So the Bombers are with out their key fwd, yet through quick ball movement and low direct kicking to a leading fwd they can find targets that aren’t deep in the pocket?
  13. Are we using Kosi the right way? He’s a strong overhead mark (not a fan of his mark of the year attempts that just result in giving away free kicks) and can be electric and elusive when the ball hits the ground. Good set shot and creates his own magic. Should we give him longer stints deep in the fwd line? Also at some centre bounces he’s lining up wide on the 50 metre arc, I’d have him closer to goal, if we win the clearance and kick it long to a leading fwd he can be front and centre for the drop of the ball to either take possession or lay a tackle.
  14. Disappointingly he even missed some targets when he was spotting them up.
  15. So much talent, so much experience in the coaches box, and this is what we get.
  16. So much talent, so much experience in the coaches box, and this is what we get.
  17. Petty play as a defender when fwd. Max must takes his opportunities
