  1. Agree, he had every right to go for the ball in that instant. Didn’t jump or stick out an elbow. The AFL need to come out and make it crystal clear what they expect the players to do in situations like that. Was May to allow the Blues player to get the ball first and then attempt a tackle? Coz that’s not footy if we are serious.
  2. Why does Lindsay freeze in front of goals? Twice he was running into goal in the last and it’s as if he was trying to hit the top of the post. He’s usually a beautiful kick in general play.
  3. It’s almost cheating, not usually fussed about those 4 bozos running around in green every week, but how can you follow this sport when one rule is interpreted differently every [censored] minute. The sport is unwatchable.
  4. Tom Gillies ring a bell
  5. Fritsch is the only one that’s made things happen tonight.
  6. Sub Jefferson now
  7. Bombers still with 1 goal kicked since quarter time of last week’s game. That quarter was so bad I can’t stay away.
  8. I had you in the Top 3 posters on this forum until your above post. Way to celebrate a champion of the footy club, you need a hobby. IMO.
  9. I wish they add weeks to his suspension, in no way was he going for the ball.
  10. You find a bit of positivity and people swoop with misery like a seagull at Rye back beach. You wouldn’t find many supporters that are thrilled with the way the season has gone, but we are allowed to focus on some of the things that cheer us up, god knows we’ve read the negatives over and over. And I agree, after our opening 5 rounds we’ve been in every single game since, unfortunately we didn’t capitalise on our momentum during those games. I still believe we can get a lot out of our remaining games.
  11. I found it interesting we were favs to beat Blues at 1.65 prior to playing North. Now 1.56
  12. Can’t believe people are still defending Xerri on radio this morning. I think they all need to watch the vision again. Ball was low and he wasn’t even looking at the ball when he took that wild swing. Not saying he wanted to knock Sparrow out, but when you lash out like that you need to be held accountable for your actions, it’s pretty simple really. Max looked like he didn’t even want to shake hands with Xerri, it was the briefest of handshakes you’ll ever see after the game.
  13. He was definitely one of our best and surprised he hasn’t featured in the votes on the votes thread. He hit some beautiful kicks inside 50
  14. Commentators saying he was going for the ball. Faark off…that was a lash out in frustration
