  1. You’re right, no mention at all of a hotspot, after the news of a hotspot surfaced last night a sore toe seemed like a relief. If indeed there is one, i guess they’re hiding it. "I'm confident [he will play round one]. He's got a sore toe and he's had that for a month or so," Goodwin said as he enters his second season in charge of the Demons. If the above is true, why was T Mac allowed to play in AFLX and the opening JLT? I thought the players were straight into rehab if they felt even a slight itch.
  2. Not a hotspot according to Goodwin. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-03-13/dees-confident-sore-forward-will-play-round-one
  3. Yep. There’s hardly any commentators left. Most of them have turned into “Special Comments” and it’s terrible listening. Adam Papalia and Brenton Speed seem a tad refreshing, those two actually call the game.
  4. My post was in jest as the poster claimed he posts them world wide.
  5. The thought did cross my mind that could be the case. There’s been ample time between writing and printing for a quick edit. I do like his top 4 pick though.
  6. SAM LANDSBERGER ”Toby Greene (GWS) and Tom Lynch (GC) receive Dustin Martin-type offers to return to Victoria as the expansion clubs crash out of the premiership race.” So, Toby Greene to receive a massive offer to return home a year after he signed a 6 year multimillion dollar deal with GWS. Massive would be an understatement if this was to happen.
  7. The race caller didn’t even realise Fanatic railed through on the final turn and bolted two lengths in front. It happened so quick, you could hear his surprise 100m upon straightening.
  8. Lol, been out and about but always find time to jump on and have a sneaky look. Even managed to catch the cup on the phone. Fanatic didn’t give up at all, I thought Ormito had it the last 200m.
  9. If Danger and Ablett miss it only gives an opportunity for some other players to come in that are hungry and willing to impress to keep a spot in the team. They might not have the class of the above but they’ll sure have the determination to make it as difficult as possible for us. We can only beat what’s put in front of us.
  10. Tell me about it, I got hit in the head by a bouncing basketball. Great observations and on Cunningham, her work rate was unbelievable. A big well done to the players for spending time with the fans after the game for snaps and signatures.
  11. If indeed there is a draw next week, won’t GWS pass us on percentage if they win big?
  12. First time at an AFWL game and must admit the standard from us was very good. Demon Army in full voice. Like @DemonAndrew stated, Cunningham will be something special. She’s exciting to watch and Carlton have to infringe to stop her. Lets hope they keep it up, big two weeks coming up for our club.
  13. Nice day to head out and watch the girls. First time watching live and looking forward to it. Get the job done Dees!!!
  14. Had to watch the Newmarket replay twice then Macca. Once to watch the grandstand side only, twice to watch the far side. Terrific race though.
  15. Since when does Carlton break the 100 point barrier?
  16. Good ol’ Wattsy, only kicked 6 so we can keep talking about him. Good luck to the man over there, wish him well. The most impressive part about todays games was the new hairdo on Darcy Moore.
  17. Proved very tricky today, Shillelagh just needed to run a place. 50 to 1 pop hey? It’s been fun today again and look forward to @Kumamoto_Ken joining the gang. Any late tips?
  18. No problem mate, come back anytime.
  19. Same here....disappointing run. I don’t think many horses have made up ground today from the back except Merchant Navy and Brave Smash.
  20. It was interesting to hear the jockey of Merchant Navy post race state that the horse lost sight of Redkirk Warrior and switched off a bit late in the race because the horses split to two sides.
  21. Some of the comments from the losing jockeys were priceless. Jockey of So Si Bon when asked after the race “ Na no good, horse needs to be gelded”. ? Edit: Craig Williams looked devastated to lose that race in his comments. A lot of praise for the horse but you could see he was gutted. I am a big fan of Craig Williams and his professionalism.
  22. Good work Macca, you might have to post one “Macca Tri Special” a week for us. That along with the “Wadda Quaddie”. Mixed reactions alright, it was a terrific race in the end. Still alive here with the system 3. Edit: I’ve also taken our Best bets in a place multi only just for a saver. I thought the place value for all was decent. Like you said, it’s about finding ways to make a profit.
  23. Thanks for the reports, interested to hear how King played.
  24. I didn’t know where to look, Merchant was coming, then all of a sudden Brave Smash shows a scintillating turn of foot and looks the winner but the Warrior does it again. Stiff fellas.
  25. Redzel returns to the winners list. Great win, I really liked the ride and tactics on Super Too, just go for it son and catch me if you can. They did but it hang on for a gallant 3rd. Edit: We are on in 5.
