Maxy should have handed the mini footy after the game to that Essendon clown in the front row and the rest of the players JW bottles to the adults.

Spargo and ANB both run for the ball. Talk and SHEPHERD!!!

It’s all happening, assistant coaches receiving red cards now. A lot of fire in this one.

Were you on Wadda? I knew I shouldn’t have started a game of scrabble with the kids.

Not a bad run Wadda, spoke to my mate prior to the race and he basically said they will decide soon on his future. These “ not bad” runs are becoming all too familiar lately and probably best to come to a decision soon. Anyway, we carry on and look forward to Sha Tin tomorrow.

Hmmm, definitely watching the Sunset. Loomed ominously at the top of the straight but didn’t find much. Even the half a million dollar colt (5) couldn’t get into the race. Come on the trifecta!!

Well done @Wadda We Sing, awesome win by William Thomas. Super strong late!

Hi all. My two to fill the placings. No.3 Duca Valentinois. No.11 Plaisir. Good luck all.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 6
Dee Zephyr replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Personally, it’s just not enjoyable at the moment. I found 2016 a lot more pleasant to watch except for the ending of that season. Like you said, maybe it’s the expectation and the fact we have stagnated. Last year there were too many emotions within the one game, apart from the Dogs game where we basically controlled the game for four quarters. For the first time in a long time, we are questioning whether we should turn up tomorrow. Going to the footy with the bigger 2 has become our “thing” the last few years. It’s like a bad movie at the moment but we can’t bring ourselves to switch it off. Fully divorcing yourself from the MFC is hard to do. Go Dees!!! -
Curnow, oh my! The Weid would not have missed from there...

Best Bet. Caulfield R6 No.1 Sunset Watch. TAB odds: $1.95 Apologies for the short odds gents, I’ve looked for the last few days and this horse came out on top. Tricky 2yr old set weights race but this colt is speedy and seems to hold his sprint well at the end. Two wins in a row and won well both times including one at the 1200m.

Yep, because that’s exactly what I said. Since you bring it up though I hope they do improve on their non-decision making from last week. Maybe go read through all the posts on the Post Match and see how many umpire comments were made and quote them. -

Well....no change in the umpire department this week. The 3 umps from Tuesday are the same 3 for our game this weekend. Bubble wrap your tellies and remotes. -

The best distance for Dan has been at the 1400m. The case could be that tomorrow’s race was always in the plans. He was scratched a fortnight ago or so on the day and the reason for running him last week over the 1000m after his first up run of 1200m could simply be they just wanted to give the horse a “run”. That’s my unqualified opinion on it anyway.

G’day Macca. All the races you listed at Hawkesbury have horses with high ratings, which is a guide i usually like to go by, but I feel the size of the field in the Hawkesbury Cup makes that particular race appealing for our trifecta special. As usual, happy with the majority of course. Dan Zephyr is back again. Caulfield R8 No.9. Over the 1400m this time. So this prep has gone 1200m - 1000m - 1400m. ? My mate has been busy lately, I would really like to hear his thoughts on this.

Perfect for the 1.10pm Sunday time slot.

We are constantly pointing out to each other where to stand at stoppages. It happened all game, there clearly is a game plan, I’m just having trouble figuring it out. Richmond have one general and it’s Rance. He was quick to point out when one of his teammates was out of position and they quickly adhered. Pavlich made a special comment in one of our pre season games a while back that you are more susceptible to leaking goals if you constantly go down the line. You run the risk of being opened up through the middle if you lose the contest down the line. Kudos to Tyson for attempting just about the only switch in the game albeit with a shite kick. The simple stuff are the most annoying. @Clint Bizkit has been harping on it all week and rightly so. Where’s our “ Goalkeeper” so to speak? 2-3 Tigers sitting in the goal square alone. Yes annoyed, giving up, no!

We did 39. The planning was spot on early in regards to Dusty playing forward. When he pushed out of the 50 when we attacked Hunt went to him on the Southern wing, Hibberd had him in the centre and Jetta on the Northern side. He did lead the clearances at one stage in the first half but that’s just Dusty. Spot on, a lot of people have missed this point.

Reading the header I thought it was about Harmes being asked to stop his poor attempts at a fend-off. Been pinned for holding the ball every time he’s tried it this year.
