  1. I noted their “Best” for the weekend. 5 horses adds up to around $123 for the multi. Worth a fiver Macca? Agree with you on Gator, I’ve always enjoyed listening to him.
  2. Edit to the post above @Wadda We Sing As I was submitting the above reply, Get On showed JJ’s best bets for Morphetville. Race 2 #5 Sagaab $2.70W Tab Race 9 #7 Manuel $2.70W Tab
  3. Lol, that’s all I felt like doing after hearing the news about TMac/Viney today. Get On is on now and I just flicked over, only 15 minutes left though, haven’t spotted the Guru yet.
  4. Grey tinged with blue SWYL? Odd design, patches on the back?
  5. Agree Macca, I have found it extremely tough to find something that jumps out. Currently I’m thinking Alward at $3.40 ( Rosehill R3 No.6), will wait to see how the track plays out as it’s only placed 1 of 6 on soft tracks. @Wadda We Sing I’ve sobered up now, I can’t see Winx losing. Kementari should run second. No shame in running second to Winx and picking up close to 200k as Macca stated above.
  6. Just cheer for the guys in your fantasy teams.
  7. Bernie had a ripper pre season. He’s usually good for one brain fade a game but he’s one of our better ball users and his experience will be crucial.
  8. Ha Ha, she’s only the best horse in the world and there’s me tipping against her. There’s been some wild predictions on footy by all these geniuses in the media I thought I’d trump them.
  9. It’s that time of the year where the footy is upon us, everyone is making “Big Calls” and I’m throwing a wild one out there. Kementari to beat Winx by a long neck.
  10. B: Jetta OMac Hibberd HB: Hunt Lever Lewis C: Harmes Oliver Jones HF: Melksham Petracca ANB F: Garlett Hogan Hannan R: Gawn Tyson Salem IC: Vince, Bugg, Brayshaw, Pedersen Emerg: Fritsch, Wagner, Frost, Stretch. Found it hard to split Bugg and Fritsch for the last spot and just a gut feel that Fritsch will be most unlucky.
  11. Out of all the headlines the AFL site could run with for the “Pick A Winner” segment going into R1, they conveniently chose the following. http://www.afl.com.au/video/2018-03-21/carey-dees-arent-a-united-team Our preview is about 10 minutes in if any one really gives a ......! Apologies if already posted elsewhere.
  12. Not sure we should be questioning Garlett’s work rate. He worked extremely hard last summer to have a better year than 2016. He was the number 1 ranked forward for pressure in the first half of the year and his defensive pressure was first class. The 42 goals were an absolute bonus last season. He had some quite moments later in the year but had to deal with some family issues. IMO we need his craft and he’s a certain starter if fully fit.
  13. Classic pic Macca, you’re right, no need to say anything else. Poor old Tom, I had no idea that occurred.
  14. 1. GWS 2. Port 3. Sydney 4. Adelaide 5. MELBOURNE 6. Richmond 7. Geelong 8 . St Kilda 9. Essendon ( By percentage) 10. Western Bulldogs 11. Collingwood 12. Hawthorn 13. West Coast. 14. Fremantle 15. Gold Coast 16. Carlton 17. Brisbane 18. North Melbourne
  15. Ray Thomas (Racing Editor Daily Telegraph) was on SEN a short time ago and provided an update on the latest racing news. - Hugh Bowman cleared to ride Winx and Performer on Saturday. - Performer was cleared to run in the Slipper after being required to participate in a barrier trial last Friday. It was an impressive trial with the blinkers on. Hopefully no more Nutbush moves from the horse. - A very even bunch of juveniles competing in the Slipper this year in his opinion. Barrier draw is tomorrow. - Still unclear if Waller will head to Royal Ascot with Winx. The most bizarre news involved the grand old campaigner Chautauqua. The horse refused to jump out of the barriers today in a barrier trial for the fourth consecutive time. In trackwork the horse is running fast times but refuses to jump in trials. Future up in the air.
  16. There’s a few of us here in the northern suburbs, the kids get really excited when they see Melbourne stickers on cars up this way. Such nice colours to look at, beats the hell out of seeing black and white jumpers roaming the streets.
  17. I couldn’t watch the game last night LH and from reading all the comments above the umpiring seemed like an issue again. Sorry, I should have added “ If we see those 3 whistle happy bozos officiating our opener next week” in my response to Cass’s “ could it get worse” comment. Knowing our luck we probably get at least one of them. Was the umpiring really that bad last night?
