I’m going Salem’s goal in the last because of his reaction. A smile of pure joy and happiness. Game was done by then, but the gather with one hand in amongst traffic was first class.

Winning games when not playing our best was huge. In previous years one loss could’ve turned into a 2-3 loss slump. I wouldn’t count a draw and a loss on consecutive weeks two losses in a row. When was the last time we didn’t lose two games in a row in a season?

These bloody scammers are everywhere. I received a call a few weeks ago from a mobile number I didn’t recognise at first, then realised it was my own number calling me. To say I was a little freaked out would be an understatement. So if you ring yourself don’t answer.

This a ripper photo and pretty much the theme all year. The joy on their faces when a teammate has kicked a goal, not many instances throughout the season where a player on their own in a better position has felt aggrieved when bypassed for a shot at goal. Genuine happiness for teammates, each goal is worth a viewing of 4-5 times on the GF replay just to see the reactions in the background. One of my favourites is Spargo on his own in the goal square jumping and fist pumping the air.

Cheers Macca, love me some Gus. Wanted to throw a couple of BBs in the last few weeks but thought I’d wait until GF glory. I’ve picked a tough race, I just think the mare was very unlucky in the Autumn and she’s come back well this spring. She represents terrific value I feel. Can anyone lip read ? After Brayshaw kicked his goal he walked back to the wing with Langdon and it’s clear on the replay he says something to Ed. To me it looked like he said “ I’m fu__ed”. The more I watch the replay the more I fall in love with Gus and I didn’t think it was possible. After playing predominantly as a defensive winger I think he was given a little more license to attack since the Cats R23 clash. His last quarter was pivotal that night, finals series was excellent and he was just brilliant on Premiership night. Just reminded a few that Top 3 picks don’t grow on trees.

Awesome scenes, was shattered for Hunt when he missed out but have a look at him go…front and centre.

There literally wasn’t any middle ground during the blitz. We’ve gone form 19 down and most thinking we’ve missed an opportunity to all of a sudden being 4 goals up at the last break. No time for biting nails and heart attacks. Extraordinary finish to a quarter.
