Not relevant to this podcast, but I notice that Tom Morris has popped up on the Dee Tales podcast after allegedly stepping down from Inside Melbourne.

Really? From his first kick in AFLX (a beautiful pass across his body to a forward) it was clear he was something special. Casey watchers probably knew well before then too.

No chance of playing this year.

Hannebery hasn't had a great year but he's a very handy inclusion for them. Rohan killed us a couple of years ago from memory but he's not a huge threat. The key players we need to stop are Kennedy and Franklin.

I do like Frost (except for that kick) and O. McDonald has been solid this year but I just worry who he will match up on if there isn't a Jenkins-style forward in the opposition.

The biggest problem I have with the current AFL MRO and tribunal is that it is outcome based and not action based. Actions can be controlled, outcomes cannot. I'm firmly in the camp that if you intentionally hit or strike a player, no matter how hard then a suspension should be enforced (as a starting point) and not just a fine. Additional weeks are then added for any injuries sustained as a result.

McCartin looks quite agile, Joel Smith would have been perfect as a match up.

It's interesting, if Frost goes to Franklin then who will O. McDonald play on? They have a fairly small forward line.

I was really liking Smith's game today until injured, such a shame for him and the team.

I really don't rate Port Adelaide, so long as Adelaide have a flicker of hope they are a good chance this weekend.

Do we want Collingwood or Sydney to win? I think Sydney will win by the way.

This will sound really shallow, but I follow him on Instagram and he just came across as a strange unit. I don't know why, but I would have put money on him not playing a game. In the end he didn't cost us much so no great loss. I just hope he finds something outside of football that he will enjoy.
