No, I meant moved from forward line as he was one of the few players who could successfully lead up at the ball carrier last year when playing forward. If anything, he should be played as the winger opposite Langdon instead of Brayshaw.

I just don’t understand why Hunt has been moved back to the backline in the first place. Like Harmes should be a tagger (one less player just going for the ball all the time), Hunt should have been left in the backline.

He’ll get injured and replaced by Beau Wilkes who will finish us off.

Who would we get in return? Talent in the AFL is stretched more than ever, we wouldn’t get close to a top 20 AFL player in return for Oliver as no one is willing to trade them.

In 2018 we had a number of clinical wins where we simply out-worked our opponents and through sheer grunt destroyed them. However, the problem always was (as mentioned often at the time by myself) if we couldn’t out-work our opponents we didn’t have the skill and composure to beat our opponents without simply over-running them.

It’s alarming that we didn’t address our lack of outside run and pace in the off season.

St Kilda will cut us to shreds with their pace and skills on the fast deck of Marvel if we played anything like we did yesterday.

The biggest concern is still the clearances, we have the best ruckman in the game with some of the best clearance players yet opposition teams still walk the ball out. All of our players seem to just go for the ball, no one is blocking or providing cover. Thank god for Steven May.

I love this rule in reality. There still is a bit of grey areas as to where the mark should be but overall it’s excellent.
