  1. Normally what happens is the 1 to 5 year players come back a week or two earlier than the 'senior' players, but you get those players joining in, if that is their preseason plan, expect to see Nev, Joel Smith, Tommy Mc, AVB, KK is a 1 to 5, so is Langdon
  2. Finally a KPF we all been clamouring for......no?
  3. Yes it does, it's called List Management, they obviously don't think there is any development in him
  4. Have you watched Henderson lately?, I run with more fluidity and I'm in my sixties
  5. 'Stay' here, Bradtke took some good contested marks and kicked a couple of goals, so he is getting the hang of it, Preuss knows he needs to improve his forward craft, Gawn regularly kicks a goal or two Just hanging [censored] on players for the sake of it, need that in your life? Any comment on McEvoy or Jacobs' forward craft, you can throw Zac Smith in there as well, why he has been moved on Bellchambers is another, shall I continue?
  6. Bradtke when he played at Casey, was mostly used as a forward so WRONG as per the norm, but amusing, as per the norm Sam Jacobs and Ben McEvoy say hello
  7. That's a good pickup on Vince, guess who has been working with Jordon on his game
  8. The bit about he didn't progress? The comment about 'men' was from a coach after I asked him about Jordon's progress Perhaps like me, doesn't have a high opinion of country footy Do hope he was not over imbibing
  9. Jordon was only 17 when he joined the Club, never played footy against men, improved steadily as season progressed With both Sparrow and Nietschke, club took opportunity to build the rest of the body and educate by sitting in cosches boxes, Nietschke was an aerobic beast as a junior, hopefully injury hasn't killed this, they put 5kg on his frame upto end of season Jordon would be my pick
  10. So you are besmirching a person's character from behind the anonymity of an online nickname, most can recognse me in public, so I can say that, as i don't hide who I am You can't leave it at that because that is the behavioural pattern of a troll Frosty seems to be right at home with some of his team 'mates' in the US at the moment, or is he associating with other poor characters still at the club
  11. And the reasons are? We had posters wringing more than their hands over Frostball for last couple of years, now he is an indispensable this forum is just so amusing
  12. He posted them in his story at the top video vision to show him doing the gym work try looking there
  13. Really, you two always go negative Like a lot of players had a down year Showed the year before why he was drafted But hey if it grows on you by being negative who are we to stop you
  14. Joel developed OP, one of the few 'injuries' that takes a while to manifest itself fully If 2 posts on Instagram of him doing gym sessions is anything to go by Joel should be ready for Day 1 pre season
  15. you have my sympathy living on the street and all that, I would offer to take it and display with pride alongside my collection of Austrian yodelling cd's and my signed photo of Margaret Rutherford
  16. I couldn't put that any better myself, only bit you missed ' is clear communication lines reestablished and the players being in the right head space', although I doubt you will ever convince the core group of miseries on here
  17. We can't look at it any differently coz you [censored] mention it in every thread Elliott was available, maybe, we asked he said no, different answer from Tomlinson and Langdon
  18. Sounds like he can go back to enjoying footy with no pressure
  19. Nice to see when I was defending the efforts of the coaches, paricularly Goodwin, in trying to right the season, the comedians and kings of hindsight were wrong, again, in disparaging my posts
  20. I don't know what you are on, but please tell us it seems to be really good [censored] Frost was good and exciting to watch, but maybe the goals kicked from his turnovers or poor decisions had some impact on his votes
  21. It's the system Richmond use not the players Ours worked in 2018 and broke in 2019 Essendon couldn't get rid of Houli fast enough Caddy was dumped by Geelong Ellis and Lambert were considered one dimensional and slow (in the mind Get them all playing roles in a system thats consistent and they blossom You can add Astbury and Vlaustin, nobody ever mentions them as great defenders, they play a consistent role
  22. Again, no idea, he is trimmed down, his skin folds are immaculate, we had this same tripe last year, he is big bodied He is building up his tank, all these comparisons are tiresome, Dusty's first 3 or 4 years, he was regarded as a 'nearly' man
  23. Threads like this amuse me Previous season we were regularly kicking 100 points, Tommy Mc couldn't miss, now again we need a kicking coach It is CONFIDENCE not technique, they can all kick, it is the pressure of game day, when things go bad, everything is [censored] Giants forward line in the GF anyone? Most on here have played footy at some level, we all never missed at training, game day?
  24. From the ones that say others don't have a clue, I just had Harnes and Viney the other way around in my top five, thought Clarry would be close second
  25. Another thread for the depressives More post mortems than aftet 9/11 Everybody says that during the pre season they are training the house down, they were They practice set shot, on the run, turnover, out the back goalkicking, looks great at training and the ball movement, but didn't translate to game day I have excellent hand eye coordination and can smash a ball straight down the middle at a driving range, put me on a golf course and with trees, bunkers etc different result They could spend a whole sessiom practicing, if it doesn't translate to game day Goalkicking is a confidence thing Castagna in the Grand Final being the perfect example
