  1. Nah, he's fine, like other rehabbers, just putting the work in, just wants a bit of luck with injury, same with Joel Smith
  2. Pre season is just that Been watching training for 10 years Seen players turn up fit, unfit, ripped and overweight Seen great skills, abysmal skills, horrible drills, innovations that worked and others that didn't Seen different approaches by different coaches Every year towards the end pre season everything and everybody seems ready to go, this has not been the case The track watchers report what we see, no idea, like everybody, what will happen when the games start
  3. It is the contact work, they introduce them gradually to it, when you have been out you need the rehab Clarry 'accidentally' flattened someone today in a drill, but they bounced straight up couldn't tell who it was because of bib Whole squad is not back for another week an a half, so the rehabbers can use this time to be cherry ripe to join it I stood next to Joel Smith, in great nick doesn't cover it Will post some pics either tonight or tomorrow
  4. Another good session for the young guys Nev and Steven May were there rehabbing Joel Smith, Weid, Petty, KK as well Mostly ball work for whole session with 5 minutes running at the end All the rehabbers are fine, just slowly building up to join main group, asked all of them Work again unfortunately so will post pics on Insta later tonight
  5. I asked, he thinks the same of you. There was a training session today Got some pics and will post on Insta later today
  6. Couldn't get a decent pic of him, another who looks in really good nick The one thing I was impressed with at training was that the first 3/4 was spent with ball in hand, meaning not one young guy needed any extra conditioning to start kicking the footy
  7. Exactly what he did the whole session, except for the running. They had him as the forward target most drills
  8. I have quite a few 'poor quality' pics will be putting them on my Insta feed late tonight work called unfortunately will answer some questions in my break
  9. Metres, they did about 10 of these around the oval
  10. The session started way before 10 so AVB KK Petty may have been out early I got there at 10 and group was already out Smith and Nietschke may be ready to go, but assume they test them out
  11. KK was not there, or AVB unless early, Weid was out early for a quick sesh Smith and Nietschke in rehab Dunkley didn't do much Gawn, Tommy Mc there Preuss' body shape from last year unrecognisable, dropped a few kilos Oliver looking in great shape, cruised through the session Firsr 3/4 of session was ball movement New Burgess inovation, interval running, used to do this years ago in military, walk 25 , jog 25, sprint 25 around the oval, gets muscles used to doing the same , great for endurance surprisingly Any concerns about Tommy Mc alleviated, spent 10 minutes at end, running full pace down middle of oval from end to end Gawn also motored around the oval a couple of times at the end, as per the norm these days, looks in immaculate condition All the 'young' boys, nobody looked underdone A point, Omac (for all the haters) looked really sharp for first session
  12. Of course you saying that after having many conversations at training with Misso, no sorry that was me, Misso had a very good relationship with everybody
  13. I am shocked and surprised you agree NOT is there one thing you actually like about MFC or are you on here as a non supporter just to stir the pot I don't listen to, read any of the [censored] these days that is supposed to pass for sports journalism It's headline chasing pure and simple
  14. And you are basing that assessment on or just your opinion,if your opinion, very sad, Henderson is done physically Geelong rarely get a delist wrong
  15. Dah Dit Dah Dah Dah
  16. Didn't take long Jones was always a strong finisher in the 3K time trials So 3 B&F, close to 300 games and Captain? I'm so surprised at Harmes' progress , constanly told on here the MFC couldn't develop a player if their life depended in it
  17. It's not sycophancy, some don't just need to quote the bleeding obvious in every thread If we have a poor year again of course Goodwin's job will be under the microscope Not sure where you get the desperate from This is amazing on Frost, liked him as a bloke, loved the fun of watching him take off on one of his runs, head in hands at some of his decision making and ball skills This constant reference to speed, Richmond won the flag, and apart from a couple of small forwards, they had no real speeders, just good decision makers and ball users
  18. Wrong, perfectly valid question, always been my opinion that there has been a particularly noisy minority, based in a certain area of the MCG, that has had far too much influence over decisions made over the last few years And not a majority of fans, I went up there 3 times and there were a lit of travelling Melbourne supporters
  19. One of my questions for the 19th Nov, was the Darwin decision based on football, commercial reasons, or just to shut up a whining minority
  20. Does it really matter as long as the whiners get the Darwin game back home, we have to play 11 games 'away', as per mantra, successful teams can win anywhere or are the whiners hoping we lose so they can whine about the draw
