Yes I'm sure the interpretation of the rules have 'evolved' to allow what would have been in the back decisions in my day. I know I'm getting on but I'm sure stricter enforcement would alleviate some of the congestion in the game.

I've got a novel idea, when a player goes to ground with the ball under him, or pulls the ball in, he has to hit it out, fine. But if someone sits/lays/ jumps on his back why not pay an in the back free kick, I'm sure this would reduce the amount packs and mauls that develop. Funny I"m sure they used to pay it that way in the old days instead of penalising a player who can't lift his body with 3 players on top of him to hit the ball out.

Not when you compare him with who was getting picked ahead of him, spud Dawes and a not ready Weideman.(last year) I think Pederson has shown he should have been in ahead of those two.

People seem to forget we won 3 games at Etihad last year, including the Bombers game and should have beaten Geelong,we go OK there now.

It's quite amazing,Roos kept playing spud Dawes ahead of him,then last year we gave games to Weideman ahead of him,this probably cost us games. No superstar but his good can be more than useful.

Problem with Garlett is his last few games of last season were quite poor and the first few this season apart from the Brisbane game have been poor also. Thats about 1 good game in the past 8. Have always liked him but if he's not in the game early he drops his bundle, very much a confidence player and must be getting close to being dropped.

In other words there are a lot of teams exactly in the same situation as we are.
