Umpiring just seems consistently bad week after week, both the deliberate out of bounds and dangerous tackle rules are being over umpired. I'd just love to watch a game where I don't notice the umpires But here's the thing I have it from a former VFL/ AFL umpire who has also run the umpiring at a few different local leagues, that umpires, at the moment would be trying to impress so they get selected for finals/ Grand Final. So what hope do we have?
