  1. See d77 I know your pick b4 you do~! Now that'steamwork ! I put it on and got 12s.....so that's pretty good. ?
  2. Crystal Dreamer always gives a good run.
  3. Flemington Race 8 Fell Swoop is one that is dropping back from group level. Had 3 group runs in the spring, including The Everest and on his best form would brain these. Goes alright 1st up paying 4.20.....not baaaad....
  4. Might be the opposite Sue, after a few years back in football, it will prove he never really did anything wrong. Good work AFL, would have been life in any other sport.
  5. Yes its a good point Macca, there is our best bets and there is always few other good ones that always deserve a mention.
  6. Oh crap ive jinxed it now! Yep your right D77, better put it on regardless. Should be a good weekends racing and no footy distractions, well Melbourne ones anyway.
  7. Just watched Di Caprios doco, "Before the Flood" it was very good. If anyone is a skeptic, have a look at it. As UN ambassador for Climate Change he traveled the world for 2 years observing and spoke to everyone from the fisherman in the arctic, to The Pope. Amazing work.
  8. Ok its good to see the bets coming in so we can get on early if we wish, as i think just about all of these may come in. Care to Think 2.40 Santos 2.10 Alizee 2.25 gives us 11.34. Edit:::Opps i just re read the thread and D77 is going to wait until Sat, sorry im jumping the gun a bit.....(long day at work).....still its not a bad multi so what the heck!
  9. Ok good then, sorry i thought there was some mention of rain, but thats probably in Melbourne. Winx, Alizee and Dixie Blossoms the first 3 legs of the quad at Randwick...? Field in the last?? ....and weve hit 30 pages...well done.
  10. Thats all pretty good then D77. As i said im worried they will smash him into 1.50 with that field, then it wont be any value at all and in fact on a hiding to nothing. They are 2yo after all. Perhaps we can get on early like say tomorrow night, if most of the BBs are in. I would say he will come in to at least 1.80. Any wet track form? Lets wait for the late mail then. My other pick would be Cliffs Edge in the Guineas race, but there are some good sorts in there as well.
  11. Im happy to make Santos my best bet. Unless D77, you want to make it yours as hes your baby? I dont mind at all. I want to atone for my loss last week on Ace High. Was slightly disappointed he didnt finish with a bit more dash. You never really know if jockeys are under instruction or not. Normally i dont like 2yo as they can do anything, and if theres a bit of rain about its an unknown factor. Hes a little short at 2.10 and i hope he doesnt come in to something stupid, but in the small field he looks a good thing.
  12. Perhaps Macca instead of being our Caulfield spy, maybe i could get a pair of binoculars and be our Ballarat Darren Weir over the back fence stable spy.......they are around here somewhere...
  13. Yep pretty much how i see it. Sometimes its hard to spot a group horse dropping back, i miss them. Im on @ Sha Tin....i have taken a tri standing out Beat the Clock and 50/50, with a number of others to come 2nd and third inc both standouts. I also took Werther into both for the win. Bowman on board.
  14. Yeah Bruce is ok and knows his stuff, but theres too much padding. There are some smart cookies out there but they can also be too smart and get it wrong. Some guys were wanting to lay Gailo Chop, said he couldnt do it..You can get too much info sometimes. Dr Turf is pretty good.
  15. I also think Racing.com is pretty switched on....way more than Bruce anyway.
  16. No thats actually a really good point. I amazed ive never heard that mentioned before actually. Love learning that stuff.
  17. I love that name Helene Paragon. They come up with the best names. If i get another dog, i will call her Helene Paragon.
  18. Just having a look at the Jubilee Cup, both Fifty Fifty and Beat the Clock have never not placed in their careers. 8 from 8 and 12 from 12 respectively. I wonder if Moreria is going to butcher Beat the Clock like he butchered that other horse, the other week at Sha Tin Macca? I think that horse had also never missed a place. Interesting. I wonder what the quinella would pay? Box exacta maybe??!
  19. Well done macca! Thats a good day then. 'I got the quad and a decent 4 leg all up, so im well up for the day and wont be giving it back for a while! I just missed a 5 leg multi with The Dees as the last leg, because Egyptian Symbol had a pretty ordinary run, but nevermind. The Quad paid 400 which was pretty good if you look at the numbers 2/4/2/2 all top weights. I saw some footage of Beat The Clock, that thing really flies, so might anchor it in something in The Queens Slipper race.
  20. Well done to Macca and Binman for their best bet selections. 2 out of 4 today. We can do better.
  21. Yeah it was quite noticeable actually, even the Dees got up! Its a good lesson actually, just because they are super hot fields, doesnt mean you cant just go with your gut instincts anyway. Premier Caulfield day of the Autumn. Russian Revolution FF paid 3199......was getable if you took the winner 1 out.
  22. My 4 leg all up place bet was Mr So and So 3rd Brave Smash 1st Oohood 3rd Russian Revolution 1st 27/1 NB: Punters lament.. I really like Russian Revolution and should have made it my best. I just thought the field was so big. Anyways....onwards and upwards. Riding home Gailo Chop and Single Gaze in the last leg of the Quaddie.
