A Day at the Races
I will cheers. Good punting.......is Ormito an official Day at the Races special?!! Might contribute toward the strike rate!

A Day at the Races
7 for Ormito....wow thats pretty neat. I havent put money in the account yet.......I wonder if i can do that over the net straight away...or is there a verification period?

A Day at the Races
A lot of the were saying Redkirk doesnt back up Macca. He wins, then the next time out hes very average......in fact a few were saying dont back it, until it starts showing consistency.....another reason i pay little attention to the press. Ill be getting on Ormito.

A Day at the Races
Oh yes his previous form not too bad at all.....ok, now i understand. Im sure the tip is spot on......and any inside info is very welcome on our thread, even if it doesnt come off.........those sources are precious. I wonder how exactly they set horses a long way in advance for a certain race?.......must be a lot in it i guess....DK certainly knows what he is doing. What an amazing trainer hes turning out to be.

A Day at the Races
So looks like the double on Nomothaj and Ormito is 11.27. Ormito holding firm at 5.50. I will note though that in 22 starts Ormito has only won once.....not to say he cant and in the Weir camp with Williams on board....very interesting Also looks like 2nd or 3rd prep in Australia, so they can come good....also working his way up to the big distance nicely and well weighted at 53kg.

A Day at the Races
Well in that case it might be a good double ! Ill have a look in the morning.

A Day at the Races
Oh dear, i forgot that one. Thanks....so much info on this thread. Ok well 5.50 is still ok. Looking for compo for Merchant Navy.

A Day at the Races
I probably wont have a bet as its a fair hike to the Tab and cars getting fixed, but always interested in your picks....post em up later. Adelaide on Monday?

A Day at the Races
Oh good thinking. Nice work. The concept is good i reckon......you just have to pick the right bet. Ill make it work. But i gather you cant collect on it straight away and there is a reinvestment first? Anyway if its more complex than that, ill give em a call anyways What do you like in the Adelaide Cup?

A Day at the Races
Thanks, i do remember reading your blog about it Macca. Something about having to re-bet with the winnings first? I will look into it. Its up to 100 i believe. The guy said he couldnt discuss it until i joined up, so ill talk to them during the week.

A Day at the Races
Is our strike rate now: 22: 13.4.1. ? Just wondering....still pretty good.

A Day at the Races
The pools also in the Grp1s help. Good strategy. I signed up at Ladbrokes......less than 5 mins. Will make a deposit during the week in time for next weekend.

A Day at the Races
Ok cool. I wasnt sure about the % you were getting with that combo......but 33-50% is pretty good. Thats an interesting strategy. Ive often seen trifectas as a bit like a poker machine.....you sit and watch the numbers come up....bang bang bang.....its great fun! (not that i like pokies) never. House money is definitely the way to play. Thats why i like multis so much, because you use their money in all the subsequent legs...and if you lose, its only your initial outlay. But it feels great when you nail tris..... Im on a bit of a budget atm, so just doing our multis....but soon i will launch into some more of the exotics. I note: Santos and Performer (Bowman mount yesterday) (or dismount) are both 8/1 for the Sires Produce April 7th....with Sunlight 3rd @ 11s

A Day at the Races
Ok i rang Ladbrokes. They have the same policy. They also cannot promote matched betting in Victoria, new legislation or something...But they do have odds boost so the Ace High Double would be 12.95/1. Im considering signing up now. They were incredibly polite and helpful

A Day at the Races
Im actually not sure of the definition of All In?..Does it refer to long term bets mainly i guess..as far as i know you dont get your money back if the horse doesnt run? I guess thats all you need to know anyways...haha..Ok so you just do the multis and your amazing trifectas....Yeah ok, i might try Ladbrokes Ts & Cs.....

A Day at the Races
God thats a toughie...and Shoals is back as well. Who are you with Sportsbet isnt it? Can you find out if they have a deduction for same runner in 2 diffent races in a double type bet? It might be worth joining just for that as often they match your first bet as we previously discussed.
-
A Day at the Races
TAB has deductions for the same runner. Im assuming after the deduction its 10.50 or thereabouts. They dont have a market up yet. (typical) Do the other betting companies do a deduction i wonder?

A Day at the Races
Where did you get the 3.50 from Macca? pics from Brett in Sydney...hes also a Geelong supporter, said Dangerfield has been injured today, possible groin.
-
A Day at the Races
Wonder what the double would pay? 10.50??

My mate Brett went to Randwick yesterday. He said Ace High is a huge horse. So powerful. Once it gets up to its right distance, nothing will get past it. Needless to say hes a fan. It did look like he was really starting to wind up yesterday. Another 200m and would have smashed em. Its being set for the Cups in Spring. He took a double Caulfield/Melbourne and got 143/1- A Day at the Races
Thanks for another enjoyable afternoon guys...I didnt get a return, but next week is always better.......somedays you make a deposit, some days a withdrawl....but im still up overall. Good to see our thread running hot on DL- A Day at the Races
The hindsight Randwick quaddie is lookin pretty easy.- A Day at the Races
