Jesus H Christ I am excited for NAB cup and Round 1........... I'm not even going to have a crack at a team yet its way too early... There will be quite a few guys who would be questioning their position within the scheme of things which should make training very, very competitive over the pre season. I doubt Neeld will give any reassurances to new or existing players so we should have a hungry squad come 2013. BRING ON 2013!

After reading this thread i went on you tube to look for any vision of Strauss and came across a highlight package from 2008 U18 Champs.... was funny to hear so many dee or former dee players running around in that particular game... Strauss, Blease, Watts, Gawn, Gysberts, $cully.

How about we let the club and the legal eagles assess any charges or allegations stemming from the report before making incriminating statements on the club website..... Perhaps you would prefer we admit tanking and run to the AFL Adelaide style hoping for clemency? There is media hype from some bored journos that frequently rip on the dees, statements from a few guys with massive chips on their shoulders and a truck load of he said she said rumor and innuendo. Lets wait for the findings before we go making any kind of statement.

Regardless of the outcome I really wish it was footy season so we could focus on the team and the game we love rather that this bullsh!t.... Its sending me grey...

I have sympathy for Bailey and the situation he may well have been put in if the rumor and innuendo is actually proved to be true. There seems to be a lot of focus being put on us on a day where Adelaide are still in massive trouble and a StKilda player is arrested in the pre season.... again. Bring on the report into these allegations..... until then its all just speculation.

Yeah I agree it goes higher but he threw his little barbs in the aftermath to screw us over.... Dog act for mine. Ill bet he isn't the first or last AFL coach asked by a club hierarchy to compromise himself for the good of the club but most choose to shut up and walk away with some sense of dignity.

You don't need to be a genius to see why Bailey would choose to lay his barbs about tanking but its still a low dog act. It was to be expected i guess but he will forever be a piece of sh!t in my eyes. McLean is dog a hypocrite... If Mahoney has rolled over on us then he needs to be shown the door too... The biggest worry here is the punishment Carlton copped.... so lets hope if we're found guilty that the AFL realize we've already punished ourselves with horrendous drafting with the picks better than they could have done by taking our picks off us!!
