Hunt, Hibberd, Lever and Jetta have been woeful. All of them can play and all of them were great in 2017. Really, really odd.

I tipped against us in both the Lions and North games. We got over the line but there were the usual MFC lapses in both games, as well as the Geelong game, that made it feel like not much has changed. Yesterdays game proved that to be true. Theres a lot of work to be done.

And we were all pitying the Lions for not kicking a goal for almost three quarters and getting flogged in the wet against the reigning premier interstate. Our performance was way, way worse.

Just want to acknowledge the performance and the improvement of Oscar McDonald. He has real been a bright spot so far in 2018, seems like a completely new player.

He took a set shot from 50 metres out in the wet in the 2nd quarter that he never had a chance at making. Should have kicked to the top of the square. Dumb footballer, and selfish.

Four goals up in the first quarter and we just stopped. Came to a complete halt. Slaughtered the rest of the game, didnt kick a goal for 90 minutes. Why? Why did it happen? Will we find a reason? Does it even matter? Time will tell if this will be a massive setback, or if it spurs us on to greater things but god damn it was pathetic.
