Fullarton is pushing for a game but you wouldn't pick him based on today's effort

Boy George to Jefferson Airplane GOAL
-
These umps don't like paying insufficient intent. Think that's the third one that would have been paid at AFL level
-
-
White is such a contributor

Boy George strikes again... Nice assist by Tholstrup
-
Judging by the way the trees are moving there's a fair cross ground wind
-
Peel Thunder Is Fullarton playing. Don't think I've heard him called
-
Hard to watch to say the least as a comedy turnover gives Willy another goal on the rebound
-
Roy/Boy George strikes for Casey
-
Jefferson outbodied and outmarked one on one on the Tomlinson kick out. Not a great sign
-
went away for a few minutes and.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-
Tholstrup and K Brown got a bit of the ball but really didn't do much with it. AMW with a few flashes Could have been worse Don't think McAdam had a touch
-
Bad handpass by Tomlinson and Seagulls scramble forward for a goal

Must say I don't understand BBB's program. We treat him with kid gloves at training yet we play him in meaningless VFL matches when we have way too many tall forwards at that level. He needs fitness but at his level he doesn't really need match practice in the technical sense. You could get three amateur players to provide him with body on body practice for example

Definitely need to find a spot for Hunter in the sense of a position. At the very least he has advantages as a sub

Thoroughly enjoyable interview. Would not mind hearing at some stage from a member of MFC staff on how they manage the various player tiers on life/jobs after football. One of the pluses Fritsch had by joining as a 21 year old is that he's now a qualified electrician with his own business. I have always been surprised that players with long term injuries (ACL etc) are not encouraged to take a mental break from the football environment and engage in outside activities while maintaining fitness. Similarly will we ever see senior players at say age 28 taking a year off in an effort to extend/improve their playing career.

Sandringham v North on Channel 7. Thought we might have got the TV game. Watching via the website is not optimal but the universal coverage is probably the one big improvement in the VFL comp Next weeks VFL game is 5:10pm Friday at Princes Park against Carlton. Might be worth a visit

Silly move by the Dogs. Like us with Grundy they now have too much of their salary cap in one area. They will also need to re-contract young Darcy soon. Meanwhile their backline screams out for improvement

It is strange as I would have thought that clubs had a big say in the timing of matches. Saturday 11am would have been more logical. KC ...could you please throw some light on how the VFL listed players train. Do they all attend or only the ones likely to play that week...thanks

you can't win without a forward line

Brown didn't leave the ground but that looks like at least two weeks https://www.afl.com.au/video/1121301/mccartin-down-after-browns-brutal-bump-mro-scrutiny-looms?videoId=1121301&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1714797449001
