  1. If you have the big bucks you can take a helicopter from Bondi.. Not if you are pick 44
  2. Fair enough but....is he an aggressive and competitive beast and will he learn to take a pack mark?
  3. That's the sort of light hearted "nastiness" I can live with rather than the habituated hate mail that goes on around here
  4. It may have been better if he was up to staying as long as Weideman and our finding out how much better he could get. That's the point surely Jackson went home presumably because he was homesick,it's difficult to believe that Bedford wanted to live in GWS .
  5. And that's on the coaching staff..the best 22 was never part of the forward line
  6. Can't hold a mark, not a ruckmans boot stops and isn't particularly aggressive even though he's mobile with great ground ball abilities. Either over rated or a huge upside ...and Bedford's gone probably Kossie next season if the traditional bland response from the Club is on form. What a great house they shared must have been
  7. Yeah and I wonder where we will finish given our form across the whole of last season. The view of fans on here can be discounted, but will we finish above any of last seasons 8 bar The Dogs who are North like in hanging on with their rusted on coach a lead weight disguised as genius ( Scott/ Beveridge). But do we actually have a first rounder next year or did we trade them all away? I bet those considerations are in play as we pontificate from our couch
  8. Maybe we( secretly) don't want to anyway..like WC
  9. I don't know about the mother thing but the rest of it seems true These guys get paid wild amounts of money to play as professionals in what is basically an insignificant suburban sporting contest at the irrelevant end of the world. The least they can do is to actually be professional...understand that you have tick all the boxes to justify the pay packet. Swings and roundabouts It's not just Jackson , it's pretty much the lot of them.
  10. Given that is Freos plan..it really means our trade isn't about pick 1,2,or 13.. It's how we get that big bodied mobile ruck...it really means two players. That's why Jackson is so valuable
  11. Hardly blackmail Jackson is probably worth 13 , ( certainly not TWO)the future pick swaps/trades usually come late when things are freed up and Freo gets motivated
  12. Gee with all the wild speculation on here about devious bluffs and ploys to " hurt" WC and/ or Freo " off the trading ball" so to speak you don't think we have simply made those sorts of enquiries some weeks ago? They knew he was going well before the season was over I reckon. Ps they don't " need" to give MFC a fair deal. Freo need to get it done though And they will, they just got three 2nd and 3rd future picks. Probably throwing them into the mix to see if there's a way MFC can trade them up to more advantageous picks and get some player they have identified with better prospects than his current reputation suggests. That would be time better spent than fantasy games and more likely to be happening as well imo. It would still be a dirty deal and "unders "though... which has always been the case
  13. Assuming they agree with the scribes opinion of various lists. I thought Melbourne had an unbeatable Dynasty .. I guess they had no idea...much like the fantasies that were posted on here most of last year WC will just do what gets them the players they want.
  14. Do you really think they have nothing better to do?
  15. Yeah they are professionals , but that is why it's a bit irritating when they so quickly forget the professional responsibility that comes with the opportunities and big wages. Unless there is an exceptional reason a high draft pick on 750+K probably "professionally " owes at least 5 years to his Club.
  16. Around here that degree of insight makes you a rocket scientist . It's starting to make me laugh
  17. So Freo should help an opposition side out to their own detriment? I am glad you arnt running our trades.. We were always getting unders because Freo has the whip hand and Jackson doesn't care what we get for him. In 3 years time we might have a James Hird ( the player) type 55 pick
  18. Sounds like Freo realising that the big baby wants to go home and doesn't care about who drafted him means they hold the whip hand so why not take ever advantage possible. Any Club would do that . The only dog in the manger here is the player. The upside for the Dee's is his immaturity and self interest may mean he will never maximise his undoubted talent no matter who he plays for
  19. It doesn't really matter does it? It's just an old over rated footballer trying to keep his name public
  20. Oh ffs... this has been obvious for weeks. He's going to Freo and MFC will get unders; the only question is whether they can live with the "unders" for next season and the one after or whether it's obviously a stich up. We probably won't know that until the trades play out over the next 3 seasons or so but we can be sure " dogga" won't be playing for MFC next year. Meanwhile we wait and hope there's something else more than Grundy that no one has seen coming. A mobile big body..forward or back?
  21. It would be easy to feel disrespected/ insulted by not getting a game when the forward line seemed to need a new look
  22. Dumb housing choices is more like it
  23. Should have played him rather than insulting and frustrating him then
  24. I don't recall the squeeling...except on here
